  • Best review on the Glock 26.

  • Nice review of the Baby Glock, it will be my next handgun, it can keep my G19 company. I like the leather/kydex holsters too. I use a Kholster when i carry my 19

  • I've been looking to buy my first gun for about 8 months now. I've narrowed it down to the g4 26 and the g36. I'm a really good shot. But I'm still on the fence I'm thinking ammo supply over ammo size.

What do you think about the single stack .45?

  • @badddspelrrrr I have to admit, my opinion is biased towards the 9mm. It's not that I dislike the .45, I have one for home defense that I love shooting at the range. The G36 is pretty cool but since it is so light and small (good things) it has a lot more recoil and as you noted, lower capacity. The 9mm is sufficient and with almost twice the shots you just get more vesatility. Add to that the fact that you can keep higher cap mags for backup on the 26 and you have a winner IMO.

  • @ghillisniper300 Nice vid and good job! I agree with you in asking a single stack option not only in 45 ACP but also in 9mm. I can't understand why they made a 45 and not a 9 immediatly: I think they could sell a million of them in a blink just like apple with a new i-phone...if i can make a suggestion, instead of calling them I'd create a group on fb and other social networks so that Glock could see you have 200.000 or more subscribers.

  • @Fede1939 Yeah, I can't imagine NOT making one if I were Glock. But often, a company might have something in the works but they can't talk about it in case it doesn't come to life or to protect the sales of their current products. But we're going to try to drum up some support for a single stacked 9mm Glock and see what happens. Thanks!

  • @ghillisniper300 Actually they could have technical and space/dimension difficulties too: i.e. the trigger/safety package doesn't fit in a single stack 9mm, while it does in a thicker 45 ACP's slide. This would need a brand new design and production of that device and would be a little out with Glock philosophy. I could go and visit Glock's factory in 3-4 hours...I can go and ask them during the tour...eh eh eh.

Anyway I don't think they need to protect the sales of theri current products

  • @Fede1939 I don't think Glock would have any trouble with the design of that, although you are right, it may take some redesign. But they would have to protect their sales to a degree. What happens if they have a single stacked sub compact 9mm coming out and word of that gets out? Their G26 sales would probably drop a bit. Some folks would still buy them but not everyone would. On the other hand, perhaps they are losing sales now to Kahr, Walther, Kel Tec, etc?

  • @ghillisniper300 This is the point!!! at the moment G26 is a best seller, but now, the sales of single stacked 9mm is not a Glock's business, while other companies get a lot of money. I think that if they now sell 100 G26, with a new type, of single single stacked 9mm they could sell only 50 G26, but probably 70 single stacked, i.e. 120 is better than 100...anyway, I'm not sure they want to make a new model, otherwise it would have come out with the GEN4. Bye

  • @Fede1939 Right, but whatever the scenario is, if word gets out that a single stacked 9mm is coming out in 3rd or 4th quarter of 2012, the sales will drop in the meantime causing them lost revenue. So my point is, even if they ARE making one they aren't going to tell anyone. That's a common manufacturing issue that is usually handled by "mums the word".

  • i hear a dog in the backround

  • @Taurusjames

They do in the compact not the subcompacts you have to go with something like the crimson trace laserguard. I had a 24/7 OSS in 45 for a while I liked it, shot well and was reliable.

  • Doc. I've never owned a glock but if I ever do itll be a mod 26. I like my veridian laser on my Taurus 24/7 compact & have made or modified my own holsters for ccw. Does glock make rails for lasers in compact?

  • Nice video

  • Agree completely with the 26 size. I started with a G22 and shot about 4000 rnds before I got my G27 and out of the box I shot it better. With the smaller grip, The Glock Palm swell just hit exactly the right spot. Much better than the full size. And I think not using the pinky is what improved my accuracy. I tried the 23, but it's grip felt the same as the 23. Love that subcompact!

  • Hey great video. I am totally with you that Glock needs to get with the times. I wish they made a single stack sub compact. I would buy one in a heat beat (after about a year so all the bugs get worked out). Keep up the great videos!

  • @ngmasson I'd buy one pretty quickly. I'm shooting a Kel Tec PF9 currently and I'm a bit envious of Doc's G26. I'll end up with one just because it is so much easier to shoot WELL than my PF9, is more reliable, and has more firepower. The PF9 is so slim and light; however, I prefer the Glock trigger and reliability. I think Glock would sell the heck out of a single stacked 9mm.

  • I couldn't agree with you more. The G26, IMO is the best CCW ever. 9mm is the perfect chambering for this little guy that is an excellent shooter and completely reliable.

Once again, a top notch video with lots of good detail.

  • @raygogamer

Thanks he's a 1.75 year old 95lbs male very loyal, and loves to go shooting.

  • Great video, I purchased my baby glock in 1993. Put thousand and thousands of rounds through it and has not hiccuped. It eats everything you put inside, once even shot a .380 with no issue (oops!) The G26 has been my primary CCW gun for years. I too have the PM9 and every time I leave the house with my PM9 I feel guilty. Love the CrossBreed super-tuck and the Comp-Tact Infidel Holster. Fist makes some great very thin kydex holsters.

  • Love the GSD

  • Nice vid. I enjoyed that alot. Gotta love a Glock.

  • It does feel strange when you first hold that glock but when you actually use it and hold the firearm correctly then you will have plenty of control and overall grip on the pistol. I love my g27 and I use the flush mags as well and have no problems what so ever with control. I do admit that you need to shoot or carry what you are comfortable with and if you need more grip then get it.

  • @chrizzis77 I totally agree. Also, I noticed that when I shoot full framed Glocks it allows me some slop in my form so I don't shoot them as well. Glocks are meant to be gripped high and used aggressively. I shoot the G26 and G19 much better than the G34. I havne't fired a full framed Glock in quite some time though, I'd like to give it another shot now that my form is a little better. And like you say, comfort carry = consistent carry. Thanks for watching and take care.

  • I have to vouch for the fact that Doc normally does shoot those 100 yard steel targets better than that with the G26. We'll have to catch some of that action some day.

  • @ghillisniper300 best review i have ever seen, Thank u and keep up the good work

  • @userarefull Thank you for watching and for the massive kudos. I have to hand them off to my buddy and co-conspirator Doc6mm on this one....this video was all him. He does good work.

    Thanks again and take care.
