I like Russell but he's almost slightly continuing to peddle American misconception that Britain = England and that we all speak like the Queen lmao.

I mean I know he's doing it purposely, he loves Black Adder and that's partly why he speaks like he does - He's said himself.

But it's like a constant act, 18th century fucking dialect SHINE YA SHOE GOVNA type-talk lmao. BUT, at least he proves that even on the worst day Britain upstage America in humour 10 to 1.

@zachmarkham84 I wouldn't consider those very funny tbh. I mean they bred a lot of funny people like Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock but I find them to be pretty corny productions in themselves.

Yeah I mean Monty Python... There'd be no South Park without it for example. Then we have The Office, which changed comedy forever I think BUT, Gervais was heavily influenced by American comics himself. But he made the qualities very British.

So, it swings both ways. I think we both have good and bad.
