It's great how dogs seem to understand when another animal needs assistance.

I had a dog years ago that had stepped on on old piece of wooden fence and got a nail in the paw. Our Australian Shepherd Pippet, went over to her (before we knew what was wrong of course), leaned up against her and helped her walk back to the house. We were stunned.

She got the nick-name Pippet the Paramedic for a while. :)

@123kawaiigirl123 they only get back problems if they gain to much weight, all pure breed dogs have problems becuase well most of the time they are bred so close together in the genes it would be like a girl haveing a baby with a cousin and if the family did that for 4 or 5 generations the same thing would happend.... its sad but there are ways to keeo that from happening.. for breeders to breed with out side dogs.. the same breed just a different family...
