  • I have a question please. I bought a bunch of unmounted stamps and I can't get them to stick to my blocks for stamping. What can I do? I really need help. Thank You in advance. Please answer if you can.

  • @dianainky1 You need to use EZ Mount foam on your stamps so that they will stick to the acrylic blocks. Search online for EZ Mount foam and have a look at my video to see how to use the EZ Mount.

  • Thanks so much. I had no idea how one went about making an umounted stamp usable.

  • @frostynature I'm glad that the video helped :)

  • Thank you for the tips. I have not found EZ mount here in Canada where I live and so the tip using double sided tape will help me till I get my order delivered with EZ mount from the states....pat

  • Very helpful thanks so much!!!

  • Thank you for the video. I'm in the process of getting rid of all wood stamps. I have them all off their blocks and have been procrastinating on the next step of mounting and cutting out with e-z mount. You have gave me the momentum to do the next step.

  • That's Hott!!!

  • I have 2 tips in addition to fab video:

Tip 1 is plan out how to use as much as possible of the sheet so that there w/b less waste since the price of the sheets can add up quickly.

Tip 2. Save your cutting hand. Take the paper off cling side b/f cutting. I found this out 1/2 way through my change over. I actually had cut so many stamps out that I could not feel the tip of my index finger which was scary. The cling can always be cleaned with a damp paper towel.

    Hope this was helpful!

  • I LOVE this idea...I have every thing I need and I started removing the rubber from my wood blocks and I have a huge ooey sticky mess left behind!!! I need help!!! I have used goo gone (soaked for 2 hours) and now it is even more ooey and gooey!

How are you supposed to remove the original sticky adhesive?

  • I have just took my thumb to rub off some. The others that didn't work so easy I soaked in a shallow dish off Goo Gone for maybe 2 minutes and took my cricut spatula to scrap the gooey mess away. Some after soaking a rubbed against an old hand towel until the adhesive rubbed off.

  • Thanxs for making this video. Wasn't sure what unmounted and mounted was. By the way, where can i buy some of the EZ mount? Do you think Michaels or Joanns has it? is there a website you can refer me to! Thanks!

  • NurseGreeneyseRN, google the EZ Mount. I haven't purchased it in a few years. But the last price I did pay was 3 sheets of the 8-1/2 x 11 for $11.00 which I found to be the best price. If you go to sunday international you will pay premium.

  • Thanks for posting this video it is excellent. I am strongly thinking of 'offing' my mounted rubber stamps and putting them on to easy mount. Much easier to position them where I want them and MUCH less storage space required!

    Cheers ;)

  • um, its EZ mount

  • Now you have done it :-)!!! Taken away my "fear of stamping" (or fear of making mistakes). You make it look so easy. Now I have a fear of becoming a "stamp junkee", lol. This is going to be fun. Thank you (I think)!

  • Love your videos... very informative and easily understood...

  • Excellent...I have used unmounted stamps and I didnt know that cutting at angles can make such huge difference.THank you so much and also, using double sided tape to hold them on the clear block? Amazing and thanks a lot! you are a star!:)
