  • ohh my goodness he looks so much more healthy

  • @tod10119 i hope your doing good i realte to you when i saw this video the word dad pops into my head and when i heard you say your clean it put a smile on my face be there for your daugter and enjoy life stay clean and keep going

  • Suboxone does get u high

  • @ajlang16 it dose if your not addicted to pain killers,

  • @Tod10119 smoking on foil will lead to Parkinsons desease later.good luck thoough

  • Smoke that ganja son! Im proud of you.

  • yah rite you know hes still useing u can hear it in his voice thanks for ruining it for people that need it dushe

  • @chrissteezybezzy lovely , cynical but yet lovely (its douche btw) oh and Stay Positive !

  • Suboxone is the devil. Yes, its better than robbing and stealing to get your pills but in the end youre just replacing one pill (or strip) for another. Oh and the sub withdrawls are 10x worse than oxy w/ds...ive been there..15 days of torture..seems like a miracle pill in the beginning, but still an opiate. mix some bars with em and you feel nice tho! 63 days clean

  • @CabsAhhHea Well I have been on sub for 2 years. Started at 2 8mg pills (16mg a day). After a year of that I went down to 12mg, then a few months later 8 mg, then a few months later 6mg, and now 4 mg. The taper system works great with minimal discomfort. If someone was to go on sub for prolonged period and just stop, I can't imagine the withdrawals. I'd prefer just a short (relatively) 3 day oxy/heroin WD compared to 2+ weeks of sub.

If you slow taper you will be fine.

  • uhh... suboxone is just another opioid. It still gets you high. What's the difference?

  • this guy is reallly fucked up doesn't matter what his fix is. he's clearly retarded

  • @theCRMartin11 people with mental retardation have much larger problems than awkwardness with a camera. You're just an uneducated prick.

  • He will prob just go back to drugs

  • BY THE WAY SUBOXONE WILL GET RID OF YOUR WITHDRAWALS FROM OPIATES BUTTTT IF YOU TAKE THEM FOR MORE THEN A WEEK WHEN YOU GO TO QUIT SUBS THE WITHDRAWAL IS WORSE THEN THE INITIAL WITHDRAWAL YOU WERE EXPERIENCING, I SUGGEST GETTING YOURSELF 5 PILLS TO GET CLEAN AN NEVER TOUCHING THEM AGAIN

  • @corey01851 I agree & disagree w what u said here. Subx will get u thru withdraw &yes it's also addictive. BUT stopping suboxone after 1 week is begging for relapse. If u did it I'm truly happy 4u. I wasn't. I've been thru withdraw from both I can say that it was WAY easier w/subx. taking em longer, few months to a yr, ensures u will b protecting ur self in weak moments&if u get the film subx NOT pill then u can ween down til ur splitting 1 dose in2 like 16 tiny pieces & WD from that is cake :)

  • nobody should email this guy, he's in denial an will totally give you the wrong advice, im 23 yrs old an at 20 i had my wisdom teeth out, i was prescribed 30 5mg percocet an within 6 months was snorting 240mg of oxy everyday.....its nobodies fault but my own for hittin the street to cop when the script ran up BUT it can happen to ANYONE, just deal with the physical pain cuz whether your on percs oxy roxy heroin subs or methadone once you flip that switch it never shuts off, even if you get clean

  • Suboxone still gets you high an is twice as hard to kick, this guys high as a fuck right now, took me 16 days of withdrawals to kick subs an i had to use small amounts of oxycodone every day just to cope, there is no weening yourself off subs, you take a little an you prolong the process, its fucking vicious.....if your young an watching this or havent touched pain killers STAY AWAY FROM THEM, even if you broke a bone an have your name on the bottle, deal with the pain or your life is over

  • they say u could be on subs for 6 months to 6 years. the majority of people are on it for 6 years. you know why.... cause they want to make money too. in jersey you have to pay cash to get subs too. no insurance. why? so money can be made just like the clinics.

  • @giuseppeow very tru but subox saved me and if i had to pay cash (way less than I did 4 the pills btw) i did it gladly. The end justifies the means. I was on it for a year and I know that seems long but if i had gone off sooner I would have been right back to the pill hustle. I don't care if they made money supplying what got me clean I'm just grateful it worked bcuz not much else does... In FL we can fill the subs at any pharmacy so thats something but its still like 10$. Well worth the price.

  • and any mind altering substance if you like it enough can be addicting. i was addictied to anything and everything i touched especially drugs. and suboxone is good if u r ok with being on it for the rest of ur life. i was on subs for 4 years and i was doin great and as soon as they weemed me off i was off to the races again. the only way i got clean was through jesus christ hes the greatest high u could ever experience. but yes it is better to be on subs then to be wacked on drugs. ur choice

  • hes fucked up to me

  • Pot alters the way your brain works....why would you want to do that to yourself? You can have short term memory loss and learning deficits, paranoia and even increased heart rate which could cause a heart attack. Is being high really worth possibly ruining or losing your life. And, if you are the real Tod, wasn't losing your wife and brother enough? You are 27 and have to be supervised by your mom because you can't take care of yourself. Your daughter deserves better.

  • when i dont do none my whole face hurts

  • this is for the "PAIN DOCTOR!!!! Let me tell ya , I've been on Pain Management program for 8 years,,,and the meds I get are very important to me, just to help me walk....it's the people who do these drugs for "fun" that are messing up the ones who really need it!!!

  • I think the largest obstacle that Todd has is the fact that he's got the IQ of a rock. One thing that always bothered me about this guy is how he is seemingly unphased by the death of his wife.

  • Obviously medical school, or if you are even a physician, you would never take that stance due to the fact if you stay in your'e so called claimed to be profession, you will see many patients who will require opiods to maintain. However, I don't believe you are even a physician any way. They would have at least taught you to spell and use proper grammer with 8yrs of schooling. Plus residency, plus specialty.

  • @mh2185 It's ironic that in a post in which you criticize my spelling and "grammar" you have so many spelling and grammatical errors. If you read my comment it specifically says, " watching the video makes me want to never prescribe an opiate again." Just because I would want to stop prescribing opiates doesn't mean I don't live in the real world where opiates are a valuable tool. I was simply expressing my opinion and frustration after watching the video series.

  • give me 3 perk 30's and i'd turn this chick upside down in the sack with a 3hr fuck session.God is she a cutie!!!!

  • all he did was replace one addiction for another..You can get high off of subs. You just don't get the rush you get from pills.Wait until he feels the WD's from suboxone,it makes withdrawl from oxy's seem mild....

  • I VE SEEN BOTH SIDES OF THE COIN AS APOLICE OFFICER AND AN DISABLED INJURED PERSON.ITS A SHAME OF ALL THE ABUSE .ITS WORSE THAT THEPEOPLE WHO LIVE IN CONSTANT PAIN ARE LOOKED AT LIKE TRASH FOR SOMETHING THEY HAD NO PART OR CHOICE IN.FOR USING MEDICATION .IT NEVER ENDS.IT HAPPENS ALLL THE TIME THE STERE TYPE.BECAUSE OF THE ABUSE.ITS NOT RIGHT.

  • I don't understand how he can be so proud to not use opiates when he is still using opiates. Suboxone is not a cure, its just another opiate. Your eyes are still pinned, you are still constipated, you still don't want to have sex. He just swapped names on the pill bottle. That being said, Suboxone still saves lives, but it is just as wrongfully prescribed as opiates. It is made for short term use, and if Todd quits Suboxone, he will be in for one hell of a ride.

  • THANK GOD... i thought this guy was surly gonna die... oc = destroyer of lives and souls...

  • weed IS addictive you fuckin peice of shit

  • @sonnyboyrecords i smoked everyday all day for like 3+ years , just stopped for no reason for a few months after i graduated from college...wasnt a big deal ...its harder to stop eating fast food , ive been smoking since 8th grade

some people ACTUALLY do have self control

  • @sonnyboyrecords weed is not physically addictive, dumbass. sorry for the foul language, but you desperately need to be informed. there are actual scientific facts that prove it. the chemical in weed, THC, does not PHYSICALLY drives u to take more. sure, u may psychologically want it. anything can be psychologically addictive, like junk food. but weed doesnt make u run out the door to find more. if u dont smoke for a day, ur not gonna be doing what Todd was doing w/ the oxys. well, now u know.

  • Subs and weed saved my life but u will never get over the fucking taste out of my mouth

  • wow he looks good ive watch al lot of these vids im an ex oxy/benzo addict with 250+ days

  • dude is fried

  • You guys keep talking about weed.I smoke weed now,and i have since i got off the blues. However it's not what use,it's how you use it.Do you wake and bake, does your idea of a good time involve smoking.I bet my life your one of two people. One your like me,you started with weed went to the heavy stuff meth, crack, herion and then you chilled out and went back to weed.Second your young and all you do is smoke, and you have gone through the gateway to hell,YET.Don't me get wrong i wish FL legalized it.

  • weed is definetly non addictive i used to smoke for years and cant anymore and i never went through withdrawls and i can watch people smoke and not "fiend" for it whoever thinks weed is addictive is talking out of there ass.

  • It's sad that a pill has to be taken every day to help get off an addictive pill.

  • This is Tod himself, thankyou for watching the Oxy Contin express.I can't wait until the data base is effect. It is going to separate the men from the boys. The pills are going to be 30 dollars. So your going to get more bang for buck with herion. The treatment centers will packed. They are 6 bucks each at the pharmacy.I am doing great, look for a update with my new song i wrote for my wife.If you really want to talk to someone about how suboxen can work for you, write me. todmparkinson@comcast.net

  • @Tod10119 suboxone saved my life. Sadly 2 friends of mine weren't so lucky. I'm from TampaFL &it was/is the same. The clinics have the nerve 2put up billboards w/the DR's faces on them smiling like they only want 2help u w/ur "pain." 1 piece of advice from me 2u (u prob already know) switch 2the film suboxone when its time 2 come off it. You can split them down as u ween off in2 smaller and smaller pieces. I barely felt withdraw when I finished. Be strong 4 that baby girl she looks like an angel

  • @Tod10119 Hope everything is going well for you man. Keep strong.

  • @Tod10119 It seems to me that subaxones and methadones are just other forms of addictions. My friends who did oc's keep on coming back to do subs and dones even after rehab. The only possible way you can literally cure your addiction is through an ayahuasca retreat in Mexico or South America. Peyote would also do the trick. Stay strong!

  • anybody else found that he was sounding more coherent when he was ON the oxy? Congrats to him still.

  • @dillyjanjan He looks alot more healthy atleast. Different skin tone

  • He is clean from Oxy, but he is still taking a narcotic? I wouldnt call that "clean" and a doctor is still chucking out subby scripts, lol.. Just like tgottsdo up there on his high horse, killing lil kids fathers and mothers to keep a Benz in his driveway, LOL jk tgottsdo, calm down

  • Pot is addictive, pot drug lords kill thousands of people a year, you guys are so foolish to think Pot is safe. Try smoking pot every day for 90 days then quit and see how you feel. Your chemistry will be so fucked up you won't even be able to relate to normal life or living anymore. That's addiction.

  • @crazedzealots lol Was that being sarcastic? The fact is that weed really isn't that harmful. It is impossible to overdose on and there is no physical addiction as opposed to the legal drugs like alcohol and tobacco. Try taking 6 shots of vodka every day for 90 days and I'll bet you won't be too fucking crisp either haha. And "pot drug lords" lmao that sounds like some bullshit I would have heard in D.A.R.E.

  • @crazedzealots you're a fucking idiot

  • @crazedzealots There is no chemical in pot that makes it addictive. If you do get addicted, it's a psychological addiction -- which you can get from repeated use of anything. If you do decide to quit (and have been using regularly), expect mild anxiety and cravings. Nothing pot-related is going to kill you.

Do you know were I could find a "pot drug lord"? I'm looking for a good deal.

  • @crazedzealots well i smoked weed for two months straight, and then one day i didnt have anymore and i stopped. everything was absolutely fine and dandy that day. i went to work, came home, hung out w/ friends, made a delicious dinner. and i slept like a baby that night. didnt think about weed all day. wat u need to know is that THC is not physically addictive (physically is the key word here). comparing weed to an actual psychically addictive drug is like comparing apples w/ oranges!

  • Yay for pot!!!!

  • isn´t suboxone the same chemical substance as oxycodone? o.0

  • @mcHerbaliser No. Why the hell would they prescribe a drug to treat an addiction for the same exact drug?? I'm not sure of the exact pharmacology of it but it is a partial opioid agonist instead of a full agonist like heroin/oxy. They work by increasing opioid receptor activity so you do not get agonizing withdrawals but at the same time you don't get high from it. Suboxone also makes it so opiate drugs will not have any affect on you.

  • @mcHerbaliser No it isnt, its a synthetic opiate which is made to mimic the effects of opiates. It helps with the cravings as well as blocking your opiate receptors from getting high. Its helps make addicts more than any none addict knows thats all I can say... and thats from experience because im prescribed Suboxone.

  • Have been through both suboxone and methadone treatment programs...was a hard user of oxy, dilaude, fentanyl, everything. Suboxone and methadone do get you high, otherwise addicts wouldnt continue going...that said, it is a good thing for hard iv users. It is a controlled dose you are given by a clinic, not a drug dealer. You can get your life together and get a job then ween off of your replacement. I unfortunately had to go to prison to get off of methadone(140mg/day) 1 1/2 years. Just saying.

  • @trentonblaine1987 and I went to prison for old charges before going to treatment btw

  • Drug addicts are some weird indivduals. It doesn't matter if your rich or poor, fat or skinny, drugs have a way of taking peoples lives over. Its a shame. You have to remember though, If these people would have never touched the stuff to begin with, they wouldn't be addicts. I'm glad to see the guy got help, but he shouldn't have to rely on another drug to get him off the other drugs. I should invest in some pharm companies that make these pills haha.

  • He sure looks way better than he did!

  • @Allanlegacy43 yeah but when he doesnt know if hes been sober between 80-100 days, then i question his sobriety- thats a huge gap for someone in that stage of sobriety not to know- sadly i dont see too much for this guy in the future, but i wish ihm the best

  • dont be offened by the usa basher. dude has a burger king logo as his aviatar. nuff said

  • 'This drug really helped me, so my life doesn't revolve around drugs anymore.' WTF???? Makes no sense. The US is screwed up completely. No money, economy down, education and health system sucks. Leader of the world? Let me laugh. A ridiculous country. I always wondered why anyone with a right mind wanted to live in a shithole of a country like that. Then again, they could never afford to live in Europe.

  • @blondecat666 what shitmcfuck country do you live in? because america is the actual best country in the world. in the world. FACT.

  • @ATurco13 Sure Sweetheart, dream on. Hahahahaha! Who wrote your FACT-book? Your mother?

  • @ATurco13 BTW, GDP per Capita: # 1 Luxembourg: $89,563.63 per capita # 2 Norway: $66,964.36 per capita # 3 Iceland: $53,029.30 per capita # 4 Ireland: $52,892.89 per capita # 5 Qatar: $52,239.72 per capita # 6 Switzerland: $51,032.66 per capita # 7 Denmark: $50,702.00 per capita # 8 United States: $44,155.00 per capita # 9 Sweden: $42,553.49 per capita # 10 Netherlands: $40,167.13 per capita # 11 Finland: $39,855.93 per capita
  • the sale of suboxone is just as high as the sale of the oxys, one big merry go round, yes it works but it's still a crutch and coming off at and staying off is still the same battle for your whole life.

  • To the phsician: We know MOST doctors DO NOT just give out these meds knowingly to addicts. When these medications are perscribed to patients that truely need them for medical purposes and used as perscribed they are or can be an important part of there living. Unfortunately the Doctor is having to play the guessing game often as to weather or not him/her patients truely use the meds for the right reasons. IT IS NOT THE FAULT OF MOST DOCTORS THAT PEOPLE ARE DRUG ADDICTS.....IT THE ADDICTS FAULT.

  • Subuxone its an opiate, he isnt clean from nothing

  • This guy is a hero for going out in public and telling America the opiate problem we have and the curruption of the doc dealers in florida

  • suboxone is worse than Oxy's!!!! they may not gtet u as high and is managed by a physican but its all government making more money off addicts just like the florida pain care centeres same thing, because Suboxone is 3 times harder to get off than opiates cuz of there half life, so the detox can last up to a month not 5-7 days even if u ween down!! trust me i know i just got off suboxone after 2 yearsand was at 1mg a day and it was hell!!!!! and would rather d/t off opiates any day

  • and metadone will take u down too if you let it... its all in your mind... pills are a bitch, but ultimately, its a decision...

  • Ive been there, got off a 'mid-level' pill addiction with suboxone. 6 months later I was on a road to rock bottom, I finally found it. But my point in this comment IS: the drug companies win again.

  • suboxone got me clean they use it in detox here in toronto...but i came out and within two months i relapsed and decided to get right on methadone and it saved my life...anyone who bad mouths methadone or suboxone dont know what they are talking bout

  • i smoke pot too, it's non-addictive.

i rarely think about it for months at a time.

it's really the way to be...

  • @hanzosan ahaha non addictive my ass just wait man

  • @hanzosan Well it's not psychically addictive, but the thing is that you can always become mentally addicted. Then you can't break that behavior and start abusing it, that's an addiction no?

  • Marijuana can be extremely addictive mentally. You can become dependent on marijuana.

  • To the 18 yr old on methadone. Try getting off of it then tell us how "great" it is.

  • Comment removed

  • @TaiChiArtist methadone takes a long time to come off, suboxone is about half the time for withdrawal, once again it's a bandaid and you have to work within yourself but it at least gives people some chance if they want it. Those that don't sell it and buy something else.

  • 18 years old from Richmond VA. Started taking opiates at 16 roxycodone ocs perks vicodin. Its a living hell man, ruined my family life friends school, everything. Entered in a free methadone clinic in richmond va about 4 months ago and its changed my LIFE. Dont start if you havent, if you have get help. METHADONE WILL HELP DONT LISTEN TO ALL THESE PEOPLE TALKING SHIT ABOUT IT.

  • @deeeeeeeeezy Methadone is awful. The doses last for a whole day because the human liver can't process it. I've done everything from heroin, oxycodone, dilaudid... and I still think the day I stepped into the methadone clinic was the worst day of my life.

It seemed like a blessing at first... no more rollercoaster ride, no more dope sickness... and then you plateau. And the clinic raises the dose "so you won't go out and use"... I ended up at 100 mgs a day.

4 months. What dosage are you at?

  • Comment removed

  • People say coming off long term suboxone, the withdrawals are worse than pills.. Well im not just someone who knows someone, i've been there and when your on pills you get dope sick pretty often but when you level out on subs over months or years its in the past and your not use to it... Remember any misery your currently goin through is worse than misery from the past because its happening to you now...

  • Poor guy, oxy's fuck up everything. Suboxone definitely takes away the cold sweats and the aching and the mind fuck that "everything will be fine if i just get a bean"

  • todd should be a hand puppeteer

  • Because of losers like this the ER around here doesn't even believe you if you have some sort of non visible injury (sprained ankle, back injury, etc.). They immediately assume that you're faking it just to get pills.

  • Ive used suboxone,Subutex, methadone,Dolcontine ,OC 80's, and heroine and just plain morphine. ive tried tappering down on subotex and suboxone, ended up shooting the subotexes so got replaced to subuxone. was clean 5 days after months of tappering same with methadone. but when i went cold turkey and just took 1x 0,4mg Temagastic at end ive now been sober for 4years and 10m. sub and methadone fucks ya up bad imho :/

  • WHY CANT WE GET THIS SHIT IN ONTARIO ...IM ON METHADONE AND I WANT THIS SHIT WTF

  • (cont). The irony is that even if you give someone a prescription for an opiate... they think you're a bad doctor and have zero respect for you... as you're the first person they throw under the bus if they get the chance. They hate you for letting them so easily fool and manipulate you... because you care. Of course any addict who is anywhere near to a real recovery would admit that it isn't the doctor, or the government, or pharma... it's you.

  • (cont). Of course there are doctors that don't give a crap and will prescribe what ever you want... but they're not the vast majority of doctors... Dealing with chronic pain management is a gut wrenching part of my job that I hate... I would gladly give up the right to prescribe narcotics so that I didn't have to try to decide who is legit and who is just seeking drugs. It's a battle everyday of every week...

  • I'm a physician and seeing this video series makes me want to never prescribe an opiate again. It is a reminder of a lesson I learned in medical school many years ago. As part of my psych rotation I went to outpatient drug rehab for 2 weeks... first think I learned was that everyone blames the doctor. You have to understand that drug addicts are masters at manipulating people... especially people who niavely want to help them... like most doctors.

  • @tgottsdo what a ridiculous statement, yes they are master manipulators but if you a doctor cannot see someone is addicted or hanging out then you must be blind or else just turning a blind eye. Doctors are not niave most know exactly what is going on, if you can't then I guess it's time you took the blindfold off.

  • @asjabluedog... sorry you think my honest opinion is a ridiculous statement. You should try walking in my shoes for a while and try to determine who is legit and who is not. For example, my next patient is a 75 year old lady with unspecified rib/side/upper back pain for over 10 years which noone has be able to find a cause for and she's here asking for a refill of her hydrocodone... she currently gets 150/month. What would you do?

  • @tgottsdo I am not putting ALL doctors into the same basket, just as I wouldn't say ALL addicts are the same but I just think that it is pretty easy to recognise a heavy using addict who is out Dr shopping for pills. I realise that it is difficult when it comes to ailments and injuries such as back pain as there can possibly be nothing that shows up on an x-ray, yet the patient suffers unbearable pain. A Dr should however recognise a junkie when they walk in, opposed to a genuine patient. IMO.

  • Comment removed

  • @tgottsdo no but in this case it IS the doctors that are the problem. If you're a physician I would sincerely hope that you would not hesitate to prescribe a patient an opiate especially when they are in real pain. These drugs help a lot of people, its just unfortunate that it is also abused. But this comes with the territory with any drug.

  • @tgottsdodocumentary is focused NOT on normal Drs., but rather on Florida's pill mills. BIG DIFFERENCE! addiction is a disease, and it is VERY EASY to see this kind of behavior of Dr. shopping. I wouldn't call most DR.naive in pain management. Even those that work in only CASH pill mills are NOT naive because they are aware of what they are doing!

  • @tgottsdo Did writing that make you feel better about killing people, lol

  • @tgottsdo you should have your license pulled for that first sentence there buddy. when I was 18, I was diagnosed with Chronic Non-Bacterial Prostatitis and Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome. The only thing on this planet that makes it so I don't have to lay in bed all day is OXYCODONE. Now I have a high paying job and don't think about suicide all day long while it feels like there is a Baseball up my ass. Do you think instead I should be treated like this junkie smack FIEND ?

  • @tgottsdo Glad to see your following Propanganda and not medical studys, Opioids are very safe medications when used correctly. Tylonol is more toxic than heroin and thats OTC. For years you could to your local pharmacy and buy Morphine,Heroin and oxycodone without a script In fact its better just to let addicts get there drugs from Pharmacys or Heroin clinics they are already doing it in other countrys. Im not uptodate but if its the same 0 deaths have occured in Heroin clinic programs.

  • @tgottsdo I have friends who are addicts. They tell me stories about how it was the "doctors fault" and that he prescribed them to much. They ended up sueing this poor guy. Oh and they take the same medicine they sued him for prescribing to them.. I never ever think its the doctors fault its very rare if it is. Addicts will do anything to get what they need. Withdraws are the scariest thing in the world. I'd rather shoot myself then feel withdraws.

  • @tgottsdo way to mistake "think" for thing Dr.Dumbass

  • @sk8ter1962.... Thanks for pointing out my typo. Do you have anything of substance to add to the conversation? To the human race? Or are you simply the spell checker for U tube comments?

  • @tgottsdo I'm saying you'r not a doctor, atleast if you are you must have lost your practice by now.

  • @tgottsdo , Sorry that you feel this way...but I do understand . There are people out here that really need these Meds, and there are jecks who try and abuse them....it makes it bad for those of us that follow the rules!!!!

  • @tgottsdo And one more thing .....Don't stop being a Doctor , and helping people when you can because some others are fricking nuts !!!!

  • @tgottsdo

You know Doc your right everyone wants to blame the doctor & that's not right. We have a bad habit in this country of not taking responsibility for our own actions. As a chronic pain suffer I have had to suffer because because some doctors refuse to prescribe opiates. Some people legitimately need strong pain medications. As a doctor all you can do is use your best judgment. But eefusing pain medication to someone who really needs it's is cruel. DEA needs to lighten up on u guys.

  • One thing I always wondered about Todd in that documentary. He admitted to visiting multiple clinics in Florida then selling enough pills to pay for the another doctor visit.. Sounds like he was going to multiple clinics & he's lucky they didn't arrest him for doctor shopping.

  • OH COME ON HE IS HIGH AS FFFFFFFFFFFFFFF IN THIS VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!!! LMFAO HE CANT EVEN TALK RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY GOODNESS. I LOVE IT. His mom is right. Im no one to talk but I can tell. cant you??? hahaha

  • @psycotykbiatch5150 No thats just what happens after 14 years of drug abuse.

  • @psycotykbiatch5150 if hes taking suboxone the OC pills would make him sick so i think he really is sober i think the drugs just permanently made him slow

  • @2THROWED4HOZ you don't get sick you just don't get high

  • @davesdung You get effects simaliar to withdrawls if u use any opiate while taking suboxone your thinkin of methadone

  • @2THROWED4HOZ That may be true to some extent but not in my experiences. I would take 1 sub in the morning and by the evening I gave in and tried to smoke and... nothing.

  • @2THROWED4HOZ i think psyco meant he's really stoned, not high on oxy.

  • @psycotykbiatch5150 yeah he is definatley high, spot on with the voice. lol

  • If only Todd knew that Buprenorphine is Oxycodone of Europe...

  • Fuck Suboxone. That stuff permanantly fucks up your tolerance. I use to get the best high off a 15mg green roxy snorted. Then I went on Suboxone for a month and it made me feel like shit always had a headache and nausea. I stopped doing the Suboxone for 2 weeks, then snorted a roxy 15, it did NOTHING. So I snorted a 30 later, STILL NOTHING.

  • @CF40 Wow you can get really high off of a 15mg roxy and went on sub....? WHY?

  • i'm 10 days clean from the subs, oxys and everything. still ain't slept. but u guys are fooled. suboxone is a short term answer. i got on them over 3 years ago and got down to a quarter of one a day. once i wasn't taken 2 mg. of the blocker i could get high again and it started all over. but i have yet to see a successful suboxone story. sure i did good for a year and a half. still fucked up. gotta get the monkey off ur back. i haven't slept in 10 days now. just started eating again. WAKE UP!!!!

  • a pill is a pill is a pill IS A PILL

  • Fuck Vanguard this is an advert for Suboxone and big pharma, assholes!

  • he sais that he thinks he'll be clean for the rest of his life.... if you take suboxone - your not clean.... sorry folks..... i've been through it so many times...... get on suboxone to get off of opiates..... and get into a program IMMEDIATELY, and get off of suboxone as soon as you can.... committ to an in-patient rehab or a 12 step program and 90 days off suboxone.... and then get off of the suboxone... eventually, as addicts.... you will abuse the suboxone, and the come-down is brutal....

  • @wolfatnight apologies... i meant to say get into a program, and when 90 days clean... get off of suboxone... doctors will tell you that coming off of suboxone is not that bad if you "taper down"..... mine told me "you'll have a bad weekend"...... bullshit... they're reading out of books, they have no experience...... while you definitely want to taper down.... prepare for a full detox... it's not that bad... but can be worse than opiates if you've been on it for a while....

  • @wolfatnight Like I said, I don't consider relplacing one opioid with another to be a "cure," nor a good decision.

Of course, most physicians are ignorant (or simply inconsiderate). But I don't get my information from physicians.

I'm not on opioid replacement therapy.

  • @cskate69 not true at all..... suboxone IS abused, and it is abused often..... people who take suboxone are ADDICTS.... and eventually... many begin to abuse suboxone..... and regardless of how much you taper down from subox... the withdrawl is ten-fold worse than an opiate withdrawl.... your relaying info that is dead-wrong....

  • Stay on Suboxone at least until you change your lifestyle get new friends Hobbies and live like a "normal" person then think about getting off.

  • whats going on with our doctors and our government, all they care is money...

  • I cant believe these people !!! I take oxys 40mg for a back injury . I cant stand those pills they get me sick and make me vomit. I flush oxys down the toilet every month and people like this guy are going crazy for them.

  • @cskate69 My apologies, I was talking about buprenorphine. I am aware of the mechanism of Suboxonse action, but I have never used it myself.

Buprenorphine on it own does produce an extent of euphoria, but when combined with naloxone the euphoric effects are stifled.

I don't mean to insult your intelligence, but if you tapered off correctly, then you shouldn't have experienced such agonizing withdrawal symptoms.

Once again, I have not used Suboxone, but I have used Subutex...

  • @cskate69 If taken correctly and not abused, the withdrawal symptoms of buprenorphine are minimal, definetely nowhere near as bad as oxycodone withdrawal.

  • @whatarewordsfor wrong.... negative... incorrect... bogus...... thats what the doctors will tell you that prescribe suboxone.... no better than the doctors that "prescribe" oxy's..... just another way of making money off of addicts... one sells the disease.... and one sells the "cure"...... same slave..... different master.....

  • @wolfatnight I not sure what you're implying. I know Suboxone can produce euphoric effects if intravenously injected. I don't think taking Suboxone (or any other opioid replacement), is the best decision. What are you implying?

  • @whatarewordsfor i'm not implying anything. I'm stating what I know to be true based on much personal experience. I mean no disrespect to anyone. What I am saying is that i dont consider suboxone a "cure" for opiate-dependency, and pointing out the hypocrisy of the medical community, as many doctors prescribe BOTH the opiate AND the "cure". Again, dont want to insult anyone, only share my experience. Unfortunately... I have a lot.

  • @cskate69

There is no full antagonist opiate in suboxone.

  • @Eurotrash4367 The term is "agonist." An opioid "antagonist" blocks or reverses the effects of an opioid "agonist." Buprenorphine is a partial agonist.

  • @whatarewordsfor

I stand corrected. Thanks. You seem to be very knowlegable on this topic. What advice do you have for a person addicted to prescription opiates that would like to stop using but does not have money or insurance to cover the cost of a rehab program? Thanks.

  • @Eurotrash4367 Honestly, the best detox method is to slowly reduce the dosage of the opioid you're already taking over an extended period of time just enough to avoid withdrawal symptoms until you have a low enough tolerance to safely discontinue. Try doing some research on "patient information tapering off opioids." An advantage to pharmaceutical opioid abuse is that the information about taking and discontinuing from the medications is readily available.

  • Todd seems a little retarted. Who would marry this asshole?

  • -Continued....That being said, if it wasn't for suboxone I don't know if I would have been clean for this long. It is possible to do Oxy while on subs, but it's not easy or much fun, so you figure that out real quick. After being on subs for 3 yrs, I have been able to turn my life around and now will definitely not go back to oxy. My advice is to get off sub asap, it's a way of cheating anyway-so think of it as a tool to get clean and avoid withdrawal.

  • Subxone is easier on some people than others, I feel like I am affected more than most. Been on it 3 years now and it's not fun, I can't wait to get off of it.

Major negative symptoms for me are: Loss of appetite, chills(cold all the time), decrease in sex drive, depression/mood swings, and the biggest problem: Undescribable social problems- very hard to describe, but I just don't feel like myself and don't like to be social, which has a dramatic affect on my whole life.

  • I used oxys for years and I would probably be dead if it wasn't for suboxone. That being said, Suboxone is now my drug of choice, and has been for the last couple years. At least I'm not sticking needles in my arms but I'm still dependent on a substance, and that can be a very hopeless feeling.

  • When you become addicted to opiates, your brain has been hi-jacked! For some, the brain function never rreturns to normal. Addiction cannot be cured, but it can be managed. It is not the end of the world if you m=need to stay on suboxone. It is far better than methadone.Every person has their own situation. You have to find out what is the best way FOR YOU. don't let anyone guilt trip you!! It's YOUR BODY AND YOUR LIFE. NO ADDICT SHOULD JUDGE ANOTHER

  • @singinglady48 wow ,intelligence on here ,,well said :)

  • @singinglady48 I hear ya!!!!!

  • @singinglady48 @singinglady48 That's why they want me to stay on but Subutex. I at least want to try to get off of this crap.- again! The Sub kills my appetite and I'm down 20 lbs. But your right, it a physical prob. with the brain changes. Sucks when people just say 'just get off it and think positive' when the depression kicks in@ 1 mg. Good post. I've been reading Depression Demystfied and would recommend it to people whe have that prob after the WD'S and the P. A. W 'S that come on later!

  • @singinglady48 i was a huge addict to shooting fentanyl and oxy's, and i got on the suboxone back in august and it has saved my life. I've been getting lower and lower on the dose and looking forward to complete recovery

  • One day at a time......easy does it

  • Replace one addiction with another. I guess that's not so bad.

  • @kottonmouthed99 At least it's pot and not something just as bad.

  • suboxone might give u as light buzz at a high dose for the first 3days to a week tops but it is a miracle drug an over long term for maintainance its great...yes hard to come off eventually but if u ween down an use all proper over the counter comfort meds and maybe a weeks worth of a low dose of a benzo an sleep aid then you can easily come off subs...if ur on subs ur clean ..they're great..just dont go for methadone in the northeast we call it liquid handcuffs its awful and DOES get u high

  • YOu will have to go though some uncomfortible times but the freedom from active addiction waits on the other side. Find an NA metting and go!

  • To all you that want off oxys, methadone, suboxone ect. I have the answer, NA, get to a meeting, get a sponsor, work the 12 steps and get involved! After 15 years of opiate addiction I am completely clean for 5 months, you can't do it alone and there are people in the rooms that want to help and understand where you are right now, and the best part...... it's FREE!!!!!

  • why do people search for this shit just so they can dog it...if you havent been through addiction then shut the fuck up and get lost!

  • I have been fucking clean w/ suboxone a year and a half and I just had some DOUCHE on here say EVERYTHING I have worked for in the past year and a half is NOTHING and it has really pissed me the FUCK off..I used to be a JUNKIE..on the street didnt care about shit..stealing..doing ANYTHING for a PAIN PILL..now i am in school, i work, i am a WONDERFUL mother, daughter, sister, and I get up everyday and am the best damn person I can be THANKS to suboxone..so FUCK anyone who thinks sub is bad!
