  • Joey from Friends -____-

  • The last letter needs more of an E pronounced, not an A.

  • ITS PORSCHE NOT PORSHAAAAAAAAA .

  • the way this retard is pronouncing it it sounds like: POAR-SHAAAAH

    completely wrong

  • @lictor313 it is not wrong

I'm from Stuttgart I don't know how the americans or the british pronounce it but you are wrong. this guy is closer than the average english-speaker

  • @TheMetalcrypt the "r" is also wrong (but he's american so i'll let it slide) but again the way he pronounces it sounds far too much like the "AH" sound at the end.

he needs to make a german or even french sounding "e" to make this right. phonetically the letter is : "ə" like in the word "halte" in german.

  • Dude what the fuck

I'm German, and lived in Stuttgart for 6 years, and you do not pronuntiate Porshce like that

    My best effort: (Poarsheh)

    you sayin (porshe)

XP

  • @TAURON85 Kein Problem, ;)

  • Anyone I've talked to says ''porsh'' and not ''porsha'' :S

  • im german and this is wrong !

  • Porsche is a name. And in German it's pronounced "porsh". So "porsha" is wrong.

  • It's actually "DOOSH-bag". But you were close.

  • wow ok are these videos wrong on purpose? because this one is and so are the Nutella and Adidas ones...

  • THIS IS WRONG AND NOT FUNNY WTF

  • that's just wrong!!! the last letter is an E! not an ä! Awful!

  • jajajjaa you're like Joey...

    It's porschá!!!!!!!! xD

  • porsche has two syllables. saying porsh, just shows lack of respect and class. you beat up old model hond and toyot drivers just don't listen.

  • @zackdevan no, it isn't! porsche is a familyname and just because you amerifats pronounce it in your way it isn't right! the "e" isn't silent!

  • lol Americans with their gay pronunciations and bastardisation of the English language.

  • @TenWhoWereTaken we don't speak english. we speak american. tuck the string in and go fuck yourself.

  • @radahad000 lol. Americans are so retarded

  • @Conorsev and you lesser countries are so quaint. lol :) Although I do appreciate your women.

  • the "E" is silent

  • @zackdevan no it's not.

  • Its Porsche (its german ok?) not borshää.

  • Puuuaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaash......

  • THANK YOU. 2 syllables, idiots

  • I don't give a fuck, it's POOR-SH to me.

  • @25PattyCake25 For me is por-sh XD.

  • FUCK! i clicked one of these REAL videos.

  • For anyone that wants to argue... why not watch an advert made by Porsche first? (in any language, it is the same in all of them). It will clear things up for you instantly. I mean, they are not going to pronounce it incorrectly in their own advert are they?

  • you are a fucking faggot, you know that?

  • fuck, you idiot. It's por-shh. I think I would now

  • PWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRSE

  • It's not really a SHA sound. There not that much emphasis on it. It's somewhere in between Porsh and Porscha ... not be so hard on the ending a.

  • There's two ways to pronounce it, lards =3=

  • i pronounce it Porsh

  • Well, this one is perfect. Cannot complain about it.

  • how to pronounce one

  • YOU GUYS ARE ALL ASSHOLES

  • POAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARSSSSSSSSCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

    POAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRR

  • its POR-SHEH not POR-SHA or PORSH.

  • @jeweladdict72 Porsha and porsheh is correct

  • @jeweladdict72 try and tell a german that buddy. ITS PORSH

  • Don't know why people keep going "DURR IS PORSH". The German language does not have silent E's.

  • thats not true at all

  • It's pronounced "Puuuuuaaassuushhhhh."

  • I don't usually bother with the "uh" part.

  • wwwyoutubecom/user/Porsche?blend=1&ob=4

  • PORSHHH.

  • @maddryoshka It's actually Porsche. It's a German word, and an "e", even on the end of the word, is basically never silent. So if you go to Germany and call a Porsche a "PORSHHH" instead of a Por-sha, you'll look like a dickhead :D

  • @TheMartini1234 I know. Haha, but i always have the tendancy to call it a Por-shhh.

  • Poooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaassssh....

  • quite good, but try not to roll the "R" More like "POAR-Shae"

  • POR - SHHHHHHHHH

  • Portia.

  • porchhhhhhhhh

  • In English use, Porsche is sometimes pronounced as a single syllable ("porsh") /ˈpɔrʃ/, without a final /ə/. However, the company's German pronunciation is /ˈpɔrʃə/ por-shə[61] ("Porsh-eh"). German language words do not have a silent "e", and a final "e" in German is pronounced as an unaccented (minimal emphasis/duration) schwa.

  • @jfnovae No.

  • it’s a two syllable word. Joe Rusz, R&T’s longtime Porsche expert, even confirmed it once with a member of the Porsche family. So, from now on, say it like this please: PORSHA

  • only idiots who refuse to say words from foreign languages the way they are supposed to be said ( unless of course it hasn't been brought to their attention before ) call it - porsh

the rest call it 'por-shuh' with the p pronounced a bit like 'ph'

  • dude ur gay because u pronounce like a homo

  • You sound like a fag is you say it like that

  • In England we pronounce it "Porsh".

  • @spiderjerusalem100 You could have also said "In England, we're all fucking retarded. Seriously."

  • @coolguy2191 Hahaha! Funny cunt.

  • @spiderjerusalem100 I'm sorry, did I make you upset? That'd be really fucking interesting, why don't you tell me about it.

  • @coolguy2191 I'm guessing you're American. Good luck with that.

  • @spiderjerusalem100 lolarrogance.

  • It's por-shE. If anyone has doubts, look it up.

  • this aint the proper pronounciation. im german, porsche is german, i have to know.

  • PORSH. PORSH. PORSH

  • Påshe.

  • It's "porsh" I thought

  • Joey: HEY....It's PORSCHE-AH!

  • now say "bessie higgenbottom"

  • thats unfortunate ive been saying "faggot" my whole life

  • PORSH amirite?

  • PPPPPPPPPPPWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEE

  • "PORSHA" or "PORSHEH" is the correct GERMAN pronunciation for the GERMAN word

  • @lineridemidget no its not.. its porsh

  • @rgls89 German language words do not have a silent "e", and a final "e" in German is pronounced as an unaccented (minimal emphasis/duration) schwa."

  • @rgls89 fuck americans. They're the one saying porsh morons

  • @lineridemidget to you and the 49 others who thumbs upped your comment. Search this vid.. Porsche Carrera GT commercial video in german skip to 0.41 and then tell me Germans pronounce it porsha.. effwit

  • isn't it pronounced 'porsh'?

  • @MrStarbucks1989 That's how I pronounce it...

  • I feel like I'm high laughing at this. To anyone outside of hearing range I look like a madman for laughing at these ahahah.

  • Porshach.

  • Porsche, the -sche part is silent.

  • @b67717 What? [ˈpɔʁʃə] is correct.

  • @b67717 wrong......

  • porn

  • porsha what the

  • Porrsha?

    You're a troll.

At least you have the decency to not say ROFLOWNEDFAGS XD

  • @CombineHgrunt This is a troll channel. You should go over to PronunciationManual videos. They are correct.

  • @hanslol the guy pronounced this one correctly...

  • @CombineHgrunt uhhh no he is pronouncing it correctly...

  • @kboy3141 Maybe it didn't come to your attention that this isn't even an English word, so even if it was correct for that language it is the wrong pronounciation

Or are you really implying if I pronounced the german word, for instance "Acht" like "Eckt" it would be correct just because that might be how you spelt it?

Oh i sadly forgot that english is the master language for the master race, derp.

  • @CombineHgrunt its a name.... a proper noun?????? it doesnt belong in a set of words in a "language"???

germans pronounce it porsch-err, so this guy got it nearly right... but the point is its a name, so it must sound the same for every language... oherwise u are saying something completely different.

  • @kboy3141 Germans don't pronounce it porsch-err, are you fucking blind?

There is no "r" after "Porsche" to be read "err"

The guy got it as wrong as you do, please don't comment back since you already lost.

  • @CombineHgrunt are u german???? u fucking idiot....

  • Comment removed

  • @kboy3141 Never heard of something like that, at least you were honest enough to delete comment, consisting of made-up stories and rage.

  • @CombineHgrunt actualy, i corrected my comment and reposted it fool, if u have read it by now, ud know its me that is telling the truth, and not you, i dont know where you are from, but you certainly dont know german.

  • @kboy3141 Oh ok.

Forgot that everyone around me, in Germany, in case you douchebag don't know, doesn't know how to speak german.

  • @CombineHgrunt uhhh dont chat shit mate...if they dont say it properly then they clearly arent german...

  • @kboy3141 Germany: population: 81,436,400, 0% German, 100% foreign but all with german names and descent.

    Hur

  • @CombineHgrunt omg lol... cant believe u put that up.... durp.

  • "PWWWWWWOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRSSSSSSCCHHEE"

  • idk the point of these, because some of them he is joking and some of them he is not.

  • Por-akdhkhasdlhsda. :D

  • PoRRRRschE. And that is correct cause I'm German. PERIOD.

  • Incorrect. This is pronounce "PWWOOOOOOOOOOORRRSSSHHHHHH"

  • Properly it is por-shah. I like the sound of por-sh though.

  • "asshole. ass-hole. asshole."

  • Posha!

  • WRONG - Listen how the Germans pronounce and follow suite. All over the world, people follow the German pronunciation. Why America has to be different. Just to be different? or is it a superiority complex?

  • Porsh....e is silent :D

  • pusher pusssher pusher

  • PORRSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS-CH-E

  • lol its not PORSHA! Its porsche

  • @supersoldier7738 No it's not. It's absolutely 100% I will put my life on it pronounced PORSH-A.

  • WHY ARE WATCHING THESE SO ADDICTING.

  • every one of these i've watched is WRONG

  • Porsha??? I thought it was porshe... And why am I even watching this?

  • @LilMsLakers Because you don't know how to pronounce it.

  • FROM WIKIPEDIA, BUT TRANSLATED TO ENGLISH FROM SCIENCE OR SOMETHING.

    -----

    Pronunciation of "Porsche"

In English use, Porsche is sometimes pronounced as a single syllable ("porsh"), without a final "uh". However, the company's German pronunciation is ("Porsh-eh"). German language words do not have a silent "e", and a final "e" in German is pronounced as an unaccented (minimal emphasis/duration) schwa.

    -----

Thumbs up so people can see!

  • Its Poor-sh.

  • is it a plane?

  • Poooooooooorssshhhhh..

  • It's Por-shuh.

    That's how Germans say it.

It's kind of like saying "Dr. Seuss" in front of other people, it's actually pronounced "Dr. Soyce", but the others will instist it's "Soos".

  • It's Por-shuh.

    That's how Germans say it.

It's kind of like saying "Dr. Seuss" in front of other people, it's actually pronounced "Dr. Soyce", but the others will instist it's "Soos".

  • Why do you say "Porscha"?

  • pushup

  • THIS IS WRONG. The word is German so if anyone knows German you'll know it's pronounced PORSH

  • @AppleMacgic911 Not sure if trolling, but this is the correct pronunciation.

  • @WordGuide 'correct' to Americans. We say it different in England and Germany. Where does the word come from? German. Understand? The German way is CORRECT. Not this.

  • @AppleMacgic911 Go to Germany, it is actually pronounced this way.

forvo.com/word/porsche/ (Here are 2 German males, and 1 Austrian male pronouncing the word)

    Cheers, mate.

  • @WordGuide I find it hilarious that you say 'here are 2 Germans..' 1. Germans have different tones to Austrians and 2. Why ruin your explanation by putting British/Australian slang at the end of your comment after saying how you're German/Austrian.

  • @AppleMacgic911 I find it hilarious that you missed the point that there are two German pronunciations, and I threw in the fact that an Austrian was present as well. And cheers is used worldwide. Open your mind.

  • @AppleMacgic911 It's correct, it's two syllables. PORSH-A. I have a German sister in-law. Trust me.

  • @RealPCGamers my family are german. If you want to haggle over the german pronunciation (moot really because the channel clearly says AMERICAN PRONUNCIATION) then it's technically porshe but ending in a shwa. And not an a. You hear an a. But it's technically a shwa. I have no idea how to spell shwa. But there is no upside down e on my keyboard.

    yet..

  • @RealPCGamers i don't hear an a. I hear a shwa which is the closest thing in english to a german word ending in an "e". "por-sha" (or if you will, Portia) would sound funny. Accented. Of course, accents are hot. So either way it's not really a big deal.

  • this is the right way god damnit...

  • Nope. it's pour-shhh.

  • In the 'bruschetta' video you say the word like an italian would say it (i'm from Italy so i know what i'm saying) therefore teaching people that correct pronunciation is the foreign one, which is the right approach.

Samething should be for Porsche. After a few videos in German on Porsche you figure out that you are wrong on this one /watch?v=yaAcVxzGKeQ

  • lol why does he mispronounce every word

  • @baitz0r This is correct.

  • I wasn't even aware that there were people who thought it wasn't pronounced like this.

  • Comment removed

  • I've been saying porsh

  • porsuh .. poor shah ... purshah

its soo damn irritation when this guy repeats his pronunciation 3 times in 3 different ways....

  • Gee, why don't just type it in Google Translate and click the listen button.

You can also listen in both language, German or English...

  • All I hear is "Porschäh… Pohrschäh."

  • poor siya :>

  • This-uh guy-uh is-uh pronouncing-uh it-uh correctly-uh, I-uh don't-uh know-uh why-uh everyone's-uh so-uh upset-uh uh UHH.

  • Guys, there is NO SUCH thing as the American pronunciation. Porsche is a family name and is only pronounced 1 way: PORSHA. This isn't the German pronunciation (though that is where it is derived from, there aren't silent Es in German), but the universal one.

Are they're different American, German, Italian, Irish, British, etc ways to pronounce your last name? No there is only one way, as it should be with Porsche. Porsha.

  • 'porsh' when you dont own one

    'porsha' when you do

  • At least he doesn't say "Porch" like most of the ignorant muscle car buffs I know.

I say "Porsche" and get looked at like I'm some pompous asshole- no, I just pronounce words the right way, whether they're from America or not!

  • It s not completly right. The e at the end is kinda wrong. It sounds like an a, but it germany the e is pronounced different. But for a guy that is not natively speaking german its pretty good.

  • Everyone who complains about this it's really helped me a lot as an ESL student.

  • iMa nAmE mAh bAb3 D1s PoRcHe fOrd pRoNoUnCed LiKe ~ fOdE

    Alan: Porsche-a.

  • tbh i pronounce it "por share" at the 1st time :P
