So far from what I've experienced watching and researching witchcraft their is a consistent message that it is all good. What I've experienced personally with so called witchcraft is nothing good at all.
The song is amazing. Just listening to it calms the enraged fire within my heart and soul. I sometimes wonder why people discriminate this religion. And now I know. People are scared of what they don't understand. We Wicca aren't bad (meaning the Wicca with the pentacle up). We try connecting our thoughts with nature and the animals with it to be able to better understand our world. Our mother earth.
Hmmm, no suicide bombers here and no abortion doctor killers, accepting and non-judgmental. thoughtful and considerate of others and the earth. No wonder the Abrahamic religions don't like pagans.
@AlleyCatJoel I was wrong in labeling it Satanic because it appears that wiccans have mostly good intentions. I question where the power comes from when people cast spells and other things of that nature. I've seen cases where people used circle rituals in order to banish demon(s), but only made things worse.

Please, my advice is if you want follow that, follow it to the 100% and not with hipocresy but you will not be happy... i know

@kayla1989100 There are some who follow a "mix" between Wicca and Christianity. If you like spirituality and Jesus, but not religionuos dogma, this may be a good choice for you. (Im kinda in that place too...). Christo-paganism believes in some form of a god and goddess (who are the same entity, as in wicca).They believe in the wiccan ways and in the techings of Jesus and applicable parts of the bible (like 10 commandments). Ask me any other ?s you want.
I know how you feel. I never really liked all that talk about hell, sin, satan, do this, don't do that, give us your money etc. It took a few years to find, but I love the wicca/pagan path. I'm a "solitary eclectic" which means I don't follow a specific tradition or belong to a coven. I do what feels right to me. There's lots of info in books and the web, try to learn from several different sources. Meditation and listening to your intuition are good first steps. If I can help more just ask.

@ChaoticVideoCrazy Maybe it's not, I don't know what to believe now. I went for the longest time believing in reincarnation and things like astrology, but then I had some very horrible experiences with the demonic, which is started changing my thoughts about the whole thing.

I belive nobody has a set element I have water and air qualites but at times its earth or its fire it just depends on how your chi is placed at that certain time
It really depends on what element you feel most spiritually connected to I suppose. I mean, Zodiac signs can only Guide you to them. Same with the qualities, but its what your soul feels most connected to. I have fire with my Zodiac sign, fire with qualities, but I've always been spiritually connected with my heart and soul to Air itself, it's always been my favorite of the elements:) Hope this helps =)

Not to sound weird but even though i am a Leo the element i feel most connected to is the Air. When i am ill i like to go for a walk and the air/wind seems to gather round me and it feels as though i am being healed within myself and i suddenly feel stronger.

I'm on the cusp of Virgo Libra. The element that is connected to your sign represents how an aspect of yourself is manifested.... so for example. I'm a Virgo... that's an Earth sign. I perceive reality through SENSATION. I'm a Libra an air sign so I think quickly. However my magic element is fire. For several reasons.1 it calls to me. 2. In my entire life I have only had accidents with fire. Fire has left its brands on me. I literally have a hard time understanding water...

There are some lists online that have "traits" of elements that you can look up. You can also do this yourself by just listing your likes and dislikes. Be sure to mediaite on certain ones that you cant directly figure out. You may have to do some deep journey work, but the results are the greatest.

@MittenKitte You can also go off of the element which you feel describes you best. If you feel an affinity with water, like I do, or if you feel an affinity with earth. I think that you should be careful when defining yourself by an element though, because many people that do that say they practice that particular element's magick better. In turn I think that this limits their power in other areas of magick.
@MittenKitte whichever element you feel represents you the best, you should feel a strong connection to that element, the element may or may not reflect in your personality 100%.
@MittenKitte most people go with their zobiac sign's element, but a lot of times that style does not fit, for example im a pieces, linked to water, but the element im most connected to is fire, there are no set rules to follow for anything in wicca, just go with what feels right to you and you cant be wrong, which is one of the best parts of wicca i think

@Elevationary true it would be nice to have a compleat and perfect circle... but maybe the fact that its not perfect that it has the magic in it? you can picture diggers/bulldozers storming in to make it a perfect circle, i think the magic would be lost. the whole point of the stone henge is that people invested time and love and with there bare hands made something so brilliant that its still here today. i think that is the true magic.

@carlos75337 The beauty of Pagan is the lack of conformity. What brought me to the Craft was Eckart Tolle's A New Earth. He explains that all religions are actually representing the SAME 'god'. Each figurehead were all people on this earth that figured it out for themselves, became enlightened if you will. They never meant to begin a new religion, they simply wanted to teach others how to find their own enlightenment. The faith that comes closest to Tolle's teachings, I believe, is Wiccan/Pagan.
@carlos75337 (part2) Wicca is a form of Paganism, like Catholic is a form of Christianity. It was started in the 50's using ancient teachings of the Craft, but it also has some parallels to Buddhism, so honestly, there's no reason why you can't take some of your Christian beliefs into Wicca, as well. As Tolle says, there are many paths to 'god'. I chose Wicca, but as an eclectic..solitary...witch because faith is personal and there are many faces to mine. An it harm none, do what ye will. :D
@carlos75337 if you dont mind ill add my 2 cents, if your looking for a mix of Pagan / Christian dogma, the "best" place to look would be the catholic church, the prayers of the "Our Father" and the chants and psalms are very much akin to pagan and even some wiccan ideals and spells/prayers.

ive actually found that making and practicing your own chant works much better, and you can call on specific gods and goddesses for each element, and it makes it much stronger

Not to sound weird but even though i am a Leo the element i feel most connected to is the Air. When i am ill i like to go for a walk and the air/wind seems to gather round me and it feels as though i am being healed within myself and i suddenly feel stronger.

@GothicGirlBassist I'm a pisces which is a water sign but I have some fire traits as well so I like to think of water as my more dominante element and fire is not quite so dominent in me. Though some people are very surprised to learn I'm a pisces and not a leo

I'm on the cusp of Virgo Libra. The element that is connected to your sign represents how an aspect of yourself is manifested.... so for example. I'm a Virgo... that's an Earth sign. I perceive reality through SENSATION. I'm a Libra an air sign so I think quickly. However my magic element is fire. For several reasons.1 it calls to me. 2. In my entire life I have only had accidents with fire. Fire has left its brands on me. I literally have a hard time understanding water...

There are some lists online that have "traits" of elements that you can look up. You can also do this yourself by just listing your likes and dislikes. Be sure to mediaite on certain ones that you cant directly figure out. You may have to do some deep journey work, but the results are the greatest.

Of course its always great to read, a Witch is usually drawn to many books, but it is also important to actually Perform magick. How do you think the Great Witches of Old learnd? Ancient Witches were taught Direct use of power and learning. If you use our Heart and Power, then what u read will have a deeper meaning to you.

@MittenKitte You can also go off of the element which you feel describes you best. If you feel an affinity with water, like I do, or if you feel an affinity with earth. I think that you should be careful when defining yourself by an element though, because many people that do that say they practice that particular element's magick better. In turn I think that this limits their power in other areas of magick.

@MittenKitte most people go with their zobiac sign's element, but a lot of times that style does not fit, for example im a pieces, linked to water, but the element im most connected to is fire, there are no set rules to follow for anything in wicca, just go with what feels right to you and you cant be wrong, which is one of the best parts of wicca i think

@MittenKitte a lot of it is which element calls you, which one you feel most drawn to, which one you are most comfortable and many times it IS about which element you were born under but thats not always so. For example I am a Cancer (born under water) and water is definitely my element. But I also have an affinity for fire which is unusual seeing as how they are opposite elements

@MittenKitte Yes, it is usually linked to your zodiac sign. i'd get your chart done, so you can see which planets were in the position of which signs at the time of your birth, so you can see. example, i'm an aquarius (air) with scorpio moon(water) and pisces ascendant (water) but i've got nearly all my planets in capricorn(earth) and my midheaven is in sagitarrius(fire). my chart is actually dominated by earth. :) Find this stuff out about urself itll help

I dont understand the music,im Wiccan (onlyy just begun really) and i love my religion but i dont get why i dont really like music like this - i'd love to listen to wiccan music but it doesnt appeal to me:( i think i have a lot to learn:)

@EmmaLilly007 Hi the music is actually a chant. We use them in rituals for their hypnotic state to help meditation. They are also used to raise energy. You might chant this whilst doing a spiral dance. Good luck on your journey into the wonderful world of wicca

@Elevationary true it would be nice to have a compleat and perfect circle... but maybe the fact that its not perfect that it has the magic in it? you can picture diggers/bulldozers storming in to make it a perfect circle, i think the magic would be lost. the whole point of the stone henge is that people invested time and love and with there bare hands made something so brilliant that its still here today. i think that is the true magic.

@carlos75337 I agree with GothicGirl. Also, I would want to add that the three are definitely not mutually exclusive. You can both believe that Christ was the personification of god, and simultaneously believe that there are both a god and a goddess.
Obviously, it's gonna be more difficult if you want to take the whole bible literally ;)

@carlos75337 The beauty of Pagan is the lack of conformity. What brought me to the Craft was Eckart Tolle's A New Earth. He explains that all religions are actually representing the SAME 'god'. Each figurehead were all people on this earth that figured it out for themselves, became enlightened if you will. They never meant to begin a new religion, they simply wanted to teach others how to find their own enlightenment. The faith that comes closest to Tolle's teachings, I believe, is Wiccan/Pagan.

@carlos75337 (part2) Wicca is a form of Paganism, like Catholic is a form of Christianity. It was started in the 50's using ancient teachings of the Craft, but it also has some parallels to Buddhism, so honestly, there's no reason why you can't take some of your Christian beliefs into Wicca, as well. As Tolle says, there are many paths to 'god'. I chose Wicca, but as an eclectic..solitary...witch because faith is personal and there are many faces to mine. An it harm none, do what ye will. :D

@carlos75337 if you dont mind ill add my 2 cents, if your looking for a mix of Pagan / Christian dogma, the "best" place to look would be the catholic church, the prayers of the "Our Father" and the chants and psalms are very much akin to pagan and even some wiccan ideals and spells/prayers.
