Given how an 88 Aries might ride... if one were still on the road today... horsepower might be the operative word. By the time, my mom traded in her 84 Plymouth Reliant "K" it sounded like a typical walk-behind lawn mower engine under the hood. I needed a laugh today.
I had 2 k cars. 1st was a blue 2 door (rare!) Aries. The floorboards rotted away completely but the car looked great. The back seat saw tons of action. The second one was a maroon 4 door Reliant which I ran into a pole while delivering pizzas. Good times.

If I had not owned one of these cars that is the perfect combination of power, style, and luxury, well I would be sold.
The best part of my old aries - it leaked enough oil so that I never had to actually change it.
I bet that guy has more dates than he knows what to do with.
