I think u need the ubuntu link , if your computer support usb boot u can directly download it from the official site of UBUNTU and save it on any full formated usb stick 512mb or better, either you can burn it after download to a CD or DVD and select on your Bios setup your CD/DVD as your first boot option.

  • is this working on virtual ubuntu os?!

  • @ViximusMKD

  • Hi,

    From the command : "sudo aireplay-ng -1 0 -a [bssid] -h [fake mac] mon0"

I get this result: ..."23:53:30 mon0 is on channel -1, but the AP uses channel 1"

How can I change mon0 to channel AP used?

    Thanks for your responds. :D

  • @eeqbal Here's ONE way of getting around that. Here is a basic summary of the steps he outlined in the video:

    1: Disable networking.

    2: airmon-ng stop wlan0

    3: ifconfig wlan0 down

    4: macchanger --mac 00:11:22:33:44:55 wlan0

    5: airmon-ng start wlan0

    6: airodump-ng wlan0

Try reversing steps 5 and 6. After step four, do step six. Find the network that you want to hack, and take note of the channel that it's on. (I'm runnig out of space, so I'll continue this in another reply...)

  • @eeqbal Okay, so after you know what channel the AP you want to hack is on, press Ctrl^C to stop airodump-ng. Then do step five followed by a space and the channel number. For example, if network you want to hack is on channel 6, you would type: airmon-ng start wlan0 6. Then redo step six to take note of the BSSID and continue with the instructions. This should solve your problem.

  • what is the command

    aireplay-ng -3 -b [BSSID] -h [fake mac] [interface]

    for?

    U enter it at 3:45

It is sending alot of packages, while the sending of the date in the other terminal is continueing aswell. Is it to make it easier to crack the WEP or something??

    thx in advance

    qscope

  • airmon-ng start wlan0 --> rt2860 monitor mode enabled [no mon0]

aireplay -bla bla bla- 00:11:22:33:44:55 mon0 --> ioctl failed no such divice

    ?? :/

  • I am getting following error.

"mon0 is on channel -1, but AP uses channel 4"

when I ran the following command

    "aireplay-ng -l 0 -a ac:3e:33:we:23:sd -h 11:22:33:44:55:55 mon0

  • @MsVideoview

    Same here =(

  • @pr0tist ok i figured this out, the channel changes alot.so keep on pasting and press enter untill it catches it when its on channel 1. then ur done.but the thing is, on the video, at the end it said reading packet and the number goes really really high realy fast. but mine, its barely a 1000 and its already 1 min.and due to some research i found out it has to be 100,000.so i guess i will have to wait.
