  • Silver Surfer!!!

    Duct Tape for Dummies

Mommie, I gotta go potty, REALLY BAD!!!!!!!!!!!! 8(

  • @MysticSabreonic so im 6 foot 4 and on the little heavy side how much would i need to buy? I never was good at making guesses.

  • @acekiller1994 I am 5'2 and 130 pounds and I used three roles of the higher quality duct tape on my self( As a fur suit maker we do not want the cheep duct tape smelling up our house.) I would get 5 - 7 rolls... it is always better to have more then less too.

  • If you don't mind me asking how much was your furry suit all together? suit, duct tape and shipping really want one and need to know how much to save up.

  • @acekiller1994 Duct tape is pretty inexpensive, you can buy it at WalMart. Our fursuits were over $2,000 a piece but we went with a high end maker.

  • I have made one of these with those chepo coveralls undreneath that you get for painting in from Rona, Home Depot or wherever..they only cost ten bucks...

  • Thanks for the video! I'm paying for a fursuit (First customer of hers so I'm getting a discount) and I was wondering if I should get any clothes from GoodWill and let the duct tape rip it? I mean.. I don't do well with duct tape and I gotta get my friend's to help cause my parent's won't do jack for me.. Any advice on the duct tape removal?

  • @exammaster You're most welcome! That's actually what we did, raided Goodwill for long sleeve shirts and long pants. Pref get something this so it'll cut easily. I have a link in the desc to a site that will tell you more of what to do when it comes to cutting and whatnot.

  • @MysticSabreonic thin*

  • @SmugglerX9 We had to make our DTDs to send to our fursuit maker. However if you are looking for fur furrhappens would be good but also distinctivefabricdotcom has some really nice high quality fur and it's very soft.

  • I am 5'4, female, skinny, how much double rolled duct tape should I get?

  • @megamonsterhouse I would say two to three rolls should be suffice. Always good to have extra though! Plus you can always return it.

  • The video itself is well done with the music and activity and the applause at the end topped it off! I loved it ! You get 10 points for this if it were possible.

  • @sarwrductfan Thank you so much!

  • How do you get him out of the duct tape...?

And if I needed to make one just for my upper body, would it be the same process except with only a long sleeved shirt? Oh how would I get out of it?!

  • @Dragonscale87 xDDDDD Yes, you can do the same process with your upper body I would assume. You draw lines along it and cut the person out very carefully. Make sure you get clothes you don't care to ever use again. We went to Goodwill for ours. There are serveral good turoials online on how to make them as well. I have a link in the desc

  • OOHH you look hot!

  • how much did all the duct tape cost you?

  • @hlessiavedon You know, I cannot remember, maybe around $20 to $30 dollars? I could be completely wrong. I suggest to get double sized rolls if you plan on making one.

  • He totally looks like he has suspenders lol at some point like some geeky Power Ranger...XD

  • @celestialsunberry I noticed that too while we were doing it! Hahahaha. Power Rangers... Marc used to like them a think. xD It's a freaky episode of Nerds gone wild!!! If that show existed.

  • thank you for making it look easy

  • @deadarntrising xDDD It is pretty easy though, just time consuming.

  • how many layers do you need to make?

  • @Josh420sk8er I am sure the more skilled people make a couple.. we just layered them so that the entire body was covered.

  • @MysticSabreonic i see how many rolls of tape were used?

  • @Josh420sk8er Four double sized rolls. xDD In otherword.. A LOT

  • That's gonna take a while to get off! lol

  • @crosh86 xDD Yeah, it did too cause we had some really shitty scissors.

  • Fur suits? what the heck for...Halloween? Starwars/chubaka reenactments? real animal fur or synthetic?

  • @MaladaptiveCatalyst Fake fur, for the hell of it.. Halloween is an idea.. if it was real fur I wouldn't get one.

  • cool! =)))

  • omg its even long in fast forward! lol At least you didn't catch a lot of my ugly mug on camera. XD Now all you have to do is put yours up as well! muhahahahahaha!

  • @kitkitsune34 LOL! I didn't tape us doing mine. If I did the camera definately would have died and I did catch your mug. MWAHAHAHAHA

  • worst process and most uncomfortable process EVAR lol

  • @cunderwater1988 LOL! You've got that right. Luckly for us there was a nice cool breeze coming through the window. In fact, when Marc was done he was freezing to death, not sweating like my friend lead us to believe since Duct Tape is insulating and all.

  • AWsome :D Is it hard to make a fursuits?

  • @AmyLynnSwansen28 Never made one, I would assume so at first but once you got the hang of it down and some tricks up your sleeves you'd feel better about making them.
