  • Galaxy SL i9003 1.3ghz Quadrant 3533 better than

  • i got this phone and got 2300 on my benchmark :p

  • So the Sensation has better performance than the HTC Incredible S?

  • The thing is, i get 40$ a month by my mom(im 13 xD), and i was thinking to get an subscription with phone, and i found the sensation XL but it cost 30$ a month, while the normal Sensation cost 25$ and i really want to save money for dream hack 2011 summer, so is there a big difference on the sensation and the sensation xl (except for the new beats audio and the 1,5ghz processor)?

  • @productionmaniacp98 The Sensation is the better of the 2 phones :), ok it does not have Beats but apart from that its smaller and for you i feel this will be easier to use.

But it runs a Dual Core 1.2Ghz, the XL is a Single Core 1.5Ghz :)..

  • @samjpullen Okay thanks for the advice, thinking of getting this phone actually... because i save a little more money for my savings account and also i get a pretty nice phone overall :) ... subscribed :)

  • FYI people, the GS2 has a res of 480x800 the sensation is 540x960, that will lower numbers in quadrant

  • @BlueEmotionTV congrats because touchwiz and samsungs hareware are crap

  • my xperia arc get 2056 with the stock rom on the quadrant bench :o

  • @IEATMILKA00 That is why benchmark means nothing. My GT540 600mhz gets 1534 marks while my friends Galaxy S gets 978. His phone is a awful lot faster

  • @Robrob007 So true, Nexus S is a BEAST! Never had a single problem with it... And nonetheless, my phone beats both SG2 and HD sensation in speed! 4473 points in Quadrant Standard :)

  • in benchmarks the sgs 2 is a cool phone but in real life its laggy and the ui is horrible

  • @virgil13stealthman Laggy ?... far from it.

  • @virgil13stealthman If it's fast, it won't be laggy. The ui can be changed with GO Launcher Ex.

  • @virgil13stealthman yeh touchwiz is every day use is pretty bad

  • Nexus S will eat Sensation alive in benchmarks.. and battery life.

  • I love my Htc Sensation <33

  • The GPU in the Sensation may have only a 4 core GPU, while the geforce is a 8 core, but Adreno 220 GPU makes better use of the pipeline, by being shorter and more lanes, which can process 88 million triangles per second, tegra can only do 71 million triangles per second that max with all 8 core running.

Think back to "tntel netburst architecture" which was extremely inefficient, and threw it out in heat. Just because you have faster GHZ or more cores doesn't mean anything.

  • @RetroPCDOS true, but quadrant does not take duel core into consideration when it runs the test/scores

  • 2347 htc desire(starburst rom)

  • The G2X scores way higher on the benchmark test and it runs at a way higher fps.

  • wth =\ i get 1800 on my inspire 4g =\

  • Very very dam greatest phone guys will die for it so awesome.... 100 %

  • sensation lacks greater 2d performance but SGii does great thats cause A9 is optimised for multimedia!

  • well dont forget that it has a higher resolution - that means you need more CPU to render ONE picture - no wonder it get less points.

  • These benchmarks have to be wrong, i agree GS2 is faster no doubt but my desire Hd gets about 2070 out the box and 3000 @ 1.8ghz overclock and linpack gives 50 and then 68 |@ 1.8ghz. These can't be right just saying :)

  • sgs2 is superior in every way open gl 2.0, cpu super amoled plus screen....HTC lost this round

  • I got 4062 on my 1.5ghz samsung galaxy s2. Yes it's overclokced. 3260 without the overclock.

  • i get 47MFLOPS average on my HTC EVO 4G with CM7 running at 1.2GHz and i get with CM6 with snap turbo 2236 on Quadrant

  • WHAT??? i got 2975 on quadrand on m sensation

  • @kevinspl2000 Well done :)

  • Comment removed

  • @RetroPCDOS sgs2 doestnt have 2.2 it has gingerbread u dumbo

  • Comment removed

  • @kevinspl2000 so do i ! not like you,but 2500 at least

  • @kevinspl2000 you wont get that on a 1.2 gig, u ove clocked or something the GS2 gets about 3k on a 1.5, but sense is sooo much better

  • o.o... My myTouch 4G beat the linpack and quadrant at 1.2ghz...

  • SGS2 has a synchronous dual core processor meaning both of its cores are sunning at the same time. HTC Sensation has an asynchronous dual core processor meaning only one core runs and both cores will run when necessary. Double that score and you've got the accurate benchmark score and you will see that the Sensation outmatches the SGS2. I would love it if someone would talk about the difference in processors before putting the Sensation down.

  • truly is game over for HTC

  • The Motorola Atrix has a qhd screen and it outperforms the htc sensation in benchmarks #just saying

  • do you think the evo 3d will get the same results?

  • @pinkerester No the evo 3d has the snapdragon 8660 plus 1gb of ram vs the htc sensation's snapdragon 8260 with 768mb of ram so you do the math #just saying

  • @lanceealy 8260 and 8660 are the same cores..., its just other modems...

btw, did you ever think that stepping the cores might bring the differences? Bring it to the max, and you'll have greater results. as long as this is not rooted, you cannot say anything about the real performance.

  • sorry if my first comment sounded offending. i know quite a few people care about the benchmarks. i love all your videos :) just got done watching all the sensation ones, now im gonna watch the sgs2 ones :) im looking forward to a review of the sensation :)

  • seriously. who cares? are you gonna render a fuckin video on your phone or something?

  • @cvdvds Yea using a Video editing app, quick videos on the go ;)

  • @samjpullen haha :) but really, those scores are ridiculously low... i hope there's gonna be some kind of driver update or something...

  • sensation all the way ;P

  • hey mate can you do a sgs2 vs htc sensation?

  • @omy yups I would also like to see what will or actually what new applications will they market on iphone 5.. Cloud music. Sorry but in my country there us no hope for cloud music...lets wait and watch..

  • samsung might score higher but on another video iv seen sensation starts benchmark test after and finishes before so works quicker i would say...needs a test on how responsive it is with lots of apps running at the same time!

  • id prefer this phone over sgs2 ANYDAY!!

  • That's a surprisingly shockingly bad result considering both the SGS2 and this run a 1.2 GHz dual core processor. Just shows that Samsung know what they are doing with their tech I guess.

    SGS2: Flawless Victory

  • MY DESIRE HD IS FASTER THAN THIS ...

  • not actually correct, the respective processors work in different ways, hence why the benchmarks and different standard

  • @MrDedrabbit FINALLY!!!!! SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY DID THEIR RESEARCH

  • @MrDedrabbit the GS2 is still faster in every test i have done :), benchmarks, everyday use etc you name it :)

  • @samjpullen your stupid

  • @samjpullen not really, its about UI, the Atrix was the most powerful phone at one time and got the best scores, but the old version of moto blur made its laggy...

  • @mrgodbody nice and to fotlhubei but add that before putting iphone in his ass he should make sure that its in vibration mode...lolzz..

  • @fotlhubei I think when you will get your iphone 10 than may be it can beat galaxy s2 ya but still it'll be having that same old boring exp. And ya when you'll be having your iphone 10 by the time galaxy 8 may be out and again boring iphone will lose. Ha ha ha...

  • It is a lot better on Quadrant than when I did the test at the HTC meet in London. It could only manage 1100 as my highest score out of 5.

Still Samsung Exynos is 1, OMAP 4 no 2, Tegra 2 no 3 and Qualcomm's dual core is last.

  • my sgs2 got 3600 with stock rom :)))

  • thumbs up if you hate samsung plastic loving fanboys ! :D

  • @abuserkadayf Actually the Sensation hardly has any metal casing, about 70% of the back is plastic and the front is all glass screen.

  • @abuserkadayf fag

  • @ChaunceySeepcrack

Of course it has! look at gsmarena!

  • qhd? I don't give a shit at all...SGS2 beats it by far!!!

  • @MrGodbodyNewday but isnt the software better that form htc then samsung.

  • @MrGodbodyNewday thats because it uses the super amoled technolgy whereas the sensation uses lcd

btw dont be against our android family. complain about the realclone - iphone

  • thank god i didnt wait for this piece of shit n got my lg g2x ,r u serious with gingerbread ,1.2 and 700 plus of ram n no even 2000 in quadrant what a shame of htc to get this i would of kept the mytouch 4g i had head down lg g2x best cpu in the market the only reason the galaxy s2 in a bit faster is cuz it has gingerbread and is overclock to 1.2 wait till i get gingerbread n lets do some test lol

  • @dominicancash SGS2 has a synchronous dual core processor meaning both of its cores are sunning at the same time. • @ChaunceySeepcrack lol no myth...I have had one for the past 18 months and it gets used 'A LOT'...rock solid build quality, no scratches, dents, cracks...nothing!

And for the record the Senstation does have a Gorilla glass display :)

  • lol it has gorilla glass so does the desire HD !!... the scores are lower because of the qhd screens...if you take the pixel increase into account it scores close to the sgs2..plus i have seen that some of the test on the HTC Sensation finished faster than on the sgs2...but dunno why the score seems on the low side while the test finishes faster on the Sensation

  • @abuserkadayf Lol, The s2 reaches its max frame rate in those tests, so for 3d the sensation comes no where close, even with the higher res screen taken into account. And what reallly counts is real life performance. Look at all browsing videos, you can open so many tabs with flash running and the s2 is fine and smooth as fuck. I'm not saying the sensation is a bad phone. But the s2 has better specs. There is no way to argue with that.

  • @abuserkadayf Yes, which just shows that SAMOLED+ is such a good display...

Also where did this phone score higher than SGS2? It would be nice to see

  • @TheBrokenEclipse SGS2 has a synchronous dual core processor meaning both of its cores are sunning at the same time.

  • @bballmaster0663 That might be true, but you forget two important factors: 1. these apps are (supposed) to push the phones to their maximum, which mean that both phone have to use maximum power. 2. the qHd display on the Sensation packs a lot more pixels per inch, which means that there are a lot more pixels the cores have to controle. This translates to a lower score as the phone doesnt have that much power to give to other tasks.

Also a lot of reviews have said that the HTC is generally...

  • @TheBrokenEclipse ... slower than the GSII.

Im not saying that its a bad phone, hell asynchronous processors are usually the best choice.

  • @ChaunceySeepcrack you do realise that htc use gorilla glass on the sensation too you know? fed up of people entering arguments when they themselves don't know the facts

  • man my desire hd scores 1950

  • @Chaunceyseepcrack: The HTC sensation uses gorilla glass. Get your facts right

  • lool my SGS2 gets 3300 on AVERAGE

  • I guess the samsung galaxy s2 is still king

  • still the glaxy s ii rules

  • Think you shoulda done the quadrant one a few times and averaged them. If you ask me the new sense UI is over the top with its animations and homeacreena transitions. Can you compare the screens of this and the GS2 in the dark?.

  • Bad perf ... Thx for video.

  • No one can beat sgs2

  • @viranijoush The SGS2 is very good, it's just a shame they use cheap shi*y plastic for the case. I'll be getting the HTC purely down to the build being better.

  • @SnazzyCH1 I think this is a poor reason to not get it. The phone feels very good in the hand. The plastic at the back is not a problem. If you're worried that much, get a case. I got the phone on a 2 year contract and am not worried one bit about it falling apart.

  • @man0z

exactly. afterall most people will get the case, thats why i dont pay attention to how it looks or feels in the back

  • @man0z It's not just the back mate, the entire look of the phone looks cheaper quality than the HTC...I agree the Galaxy is an excellent phone..but for me the look of the shiny plastic spoils it.

  • @viranijoush my iphone 4 can

  • @fotljubei

Just FU** up and push your shitty iphone in your ASS!

  • @fotljubei Uhm no it can't...

  • @TheBrokenEclipse sure it can :)

  • @fotljubei Please be so kind and give us some reasons to why it can

does it have a better cpu & gpu? nope

Does it have a better screen? Nope

Does it have more ram? nope

Does it have more storage? Nope

you have to admit that the iPhone 4 is an outdated phone, and sure, its still a good phone, but it doesnt compare to these new phones.

  • @TheBrokenEclipse i mean what you want with better cpu gpu ram , this is just a phone , u can do everything with the iphone what you can do with the galaxy s2 etc. mb some seconds slower but who cares

  • @fotljubei Keep convincing your self that iphone can beat sensation and GS2

  • @petter56789 iphone looks 10 times better dude , i dont give fuck to 20% more power .

  • @fotljubei

It looks 10 times better? well i guess thats your opinion, you cant compare phones by the design, thats pretty much up to what you think looks best. If we look at the hardware, GS2 is waaay better then iphone 4.

  • @viranijoush I hate apple but lets wait and see what they will do with the iphone 5

  • @viranijoush good luck with GPS issues. Check out XDA. Seems many people are having the same issues as with SGS

  • @viranijoush its because resolution

  • Great video!

I`m suscribed to your chanel and really like your videos! Keep up doing them!

  • not the last
