My explanation of "hate" in reference to people like Sarah Palin and Mitt Romney, amongst others, when discussing regret and forgiveness to the international community. What is an apology worth? In Rwanda, after a genocide that killed a million people, there were special courts set up where people stood up and said, "Hey, I'm sorry I macheted, AK-47ed, and raped your entire family, my bad". And believe it or not, in most cases that was enough. That is the power of an apology.
