Vince Furnier (Alice) 0:18 and Glen Buxton 0:59 and Dennis Dunaway bass 1:29. These three and then Neal Smith drums and Michael Bruce guitar became the Alice Cooper band from '68 to '74 that produced all the hit songs in the early/mid '70s. Then they broke up and Alice did Welcome To My Nightmare album in 1975. The early '70s group line-up is what earned their 2011 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction.
@h8jf1@h8jf1 The lead singer is "Alice" (Vince Furnier). He learned harmonica for this song. The band at this time was Vince, Glen Buxton (guitar), John Tatum (rhythm guitar), John Speer (drums), & Dennis Dunaway (bass). They started off as The Earwigs in high school, then renamed as The Spiders, then briefly Nazz (but not Todd Rundgren's Nazz), so renamed as the Alice Cooper band replacing Neal Smith on drums & Michael Bruce guitar. This is the '68-'74 line-up that did School's Out, etc.
the song is really hysterical......just as Eric Idle did those fab fab Beatles wannabe songs in The Rutles......this coulda been one of them! (The Rutles songs were truly brilliant.)
Wonderful pics, thanks!
