  • HE OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T LISTEN TO THE INTERVIEW WITH EMINEM AND ROYCE WHERE THEY TALK ABOUT WHY THESE SONGS ARE ON THE EP. THIS ALBUM WAS AMZING FROM TRACK 1-11

  • you a fuckin tool someone needs to beat your ass. eminem 4 life mutherfucker

  • @tytatroe hahahahaha why dont u get his face tatted on ur ass

  • I gave this album my first listen today, and already the fact that I'm planning to get back to it later today and in the foreseeable future means it's onto something. I agree with Anthony that mostly it does not reach the greatest heights of Em (and I'm mostly there for him, and he does rap better than anyone on this album, too), but when it does, it's definitely on, and the rest is at least listenable.

  • Everyone is so stupid when they say they're big Eminem fans and they miss the old Eminem. I too miss the old Eminem but I still love the new Eminem. Quit beggin' him to go back. I mean c'mon, he's 39 years old and you still expect him to rap about funny shit. Let him be who the fuck he wants.

  • @SnowishTheMan Don't mess with the Hip-Hop heads man. If you think his new shit is good then you know absolutely NOTHING about Hip-Hop period. Ask ANY true Hip-Hop head and they'll say the same thing. When you finally understand the concept of rapping, then come talk to me. You're probably one of those fucking morons who think it's all about lyrics too... Fucking bandwagoning fags..

  • I just think that Ems Beats are getting worse if you look at the tecnical side e.g. lyrics, wordplay, subject matter, metaphors and flow its all still dope its just the beats are to soft.

  • I miss Eminem's old stuff. I especially love his album, Infinite.

  • @GlimFliker MMLP and SSLP are better albums, in my opinion.

  • @imaginemug I love those too, I actually like all his albums.

  • love it !

  • @JVO2004 Shut up, you know nothing about hip-hop. Eminem fell off as soon as he killed Slim. I was a fan of Em from the very begining, so if you think his newer shit is good YOU should stop listening to Hip-Hop cause you obviously no nothing about it.

  • @KiddNezz Dude, you are seriously stupid. Relapse and Recovery weren't bad albums at all, and Hell:The Sequel was dope, he is slowly bringing Slim back. You can't force someone to stop listening to hip hop, if they like it, they can listen to it.

  • PERSONALLY, I THINK THIS IS THE BEST COLLABORATION ALBUM SINCE ERIC B AND RAKIM, DISAGREE, FEEL FREE

  • ok youre very retarded eminem has been coming out with great cds from the beginning maybe one was bad which was encore but the rest were all good so u dont know what youre talking about go fuck yourself and die thanks u very much

  • I loved old em, But his new lines are whack, they dont make sense, and they arent about anything anymore, they are just random words that sound ok together...

  • I loved this album, didn't like lighters though but I understand that they made it because those kind of songs featuring pop artists are always commercially popular for some reason, would've been a good song if it had featured someone like john legend imo. fastlane is the best music video ive seen in my life!

  • I agree. This album is terrible. Em should just retire and do movies or something. He has no more fuel left in him. To all the people who think hes great right now clearly don't understand hip hop. I love it how you all think it's all about lyrics. Lol makes me laugh every time.

  • @KiddNezz YOU SHOULD NEVER LISTEN TO HIP HOP AGAIN IF UR GONNA BE SAYING THIS ABOUT EM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

  • I like how you displayed Eminem's discography, and skipped The Eminem Show. Classic album.

Relapse had some great songs and 1 amazing song (Deja Vu) that people overlook because it is a subpar album overall.

Recovery is great in my eyes, but people automatically shun it because of the production. I've never seen anyone get criticized as harshly as Eminem.

  • Eminem and Royce are a great team, and the competition, and yet partnership you speak of, is spot on. It was ok, but nothing will ever amount fo old school Eminem. Encore and Relapse were horrific, and Recovery was.... somewhat of a recovery. Bad Meets Evil is the return of the dark side of Eminem, except (like you said) Royce keeps him from getting into miserable Slim Shady, and more, intense Slim Shady.

A good pickup. Eminem has evolved, and this album has both old and new characteristics.

  • 9.5 best work from em in years

  • hated this album

  • I loved fast lane, the hook was kinda corny but the flow an synergy was incredible

  • I LOVE Relapse..

  • The hooks are lame but I love Welcome 2 Hell. No hook, fast, lyrically the song is awesome.

  • I give the EP a strong 8!

  • lol how do u not like the eminem show, u even skipped over it

  • hahaha omg :45 killed me

  • and i was really inspired by that album, love the album and i keep it on replay everyday,id say one of is top 3 albums.

    -Majesty

  • people hate on Relapse too much,''oh i hate his accent!!! this album sucks!'' his lyricism? his flows? his punchlines? the structure? Fuck Out Of Here.

    -Majesty

  • @MAJESTYOFFICIAL If you can barely stand the accents, how can you get through the song? Like a bad singer singing a good song.

  • @SONYroxs i honestly do not know, over his lyrical ability in his songs,it really just fades away :/ .

  • The reason they broke up was Eminem got with D12 and Royce disliked some people in D12

  • Shutup.

  • I disagree.. I think this album was rlly good and i've listend to it on replay countless times.. Eminem did a great job on it aswell as royce and if someone is watching this to make up thier minds for buying it or not.. I recomend u do :)

  • @eminemfan1246

stop being a stan. Em is my fave rapper but there.are times he has bad songs etc.

  • fuck u you are the biggest faggot on youtube and fuck all of u who say stuff about eminem you little fags go suck some dick

  • Anthony you should review Raw by Hopsin

  • Eminem and Royce vs. Boondox and Twiztid

    Forbeing evil, no contest.

  • @rammsteinrulz16 Why even bring up people who can't rap? ICP has always been garbage. They may have pioneered the crazy white boy gimmick but they couldn't do anything with it because THEY HAVE NO TALENT!

  • @arekkusu2006 I dont want to start an argument with you about this pointless topic, so ill just make these points short and sweet.

-ICP weren't the first white rappers. Vanilla Ice was.

-Boondox and Twiztid arent ICP. They're their own acts, completely different.

-I like Eminem too, but all I was saying is that in an evil contest, not a talent contest, Eminem would lose. He's just not evil enough. Talented sure, but just not scary.

  • @rammsteinrulz16 lol vanilla ice was the first? Haven't u heard of the beastie boys?

  • @rammsteinrulz16 FIRST OF ALL THE FIRST WHITE RAPPERS WERE BEASTIE BOYS, AND EMINEM IS PRETTY SCARY. HAVE U HEARD KIM, OR 97 BONNIE AND CLYDE, THERE CRAZY AND SCARY

  • got boring after few songs. they sound the same

  • I do love it, thanks for asking Anthony and heres why ...because these two are just crazy lyrical mc's and bring the fire-y hot sauce to they're wings and make them shine! They are flying so high that theyre on their on level! They are not really mainstream , Lil Wayne is and that's the thing I like about Eminem. He was the Mac Miller or Lil Wayne 11 years ago but now he can still rap better than these candy rappers and nothing better to prove it than with his ol'

  • Anybody who Thinks this album is weak is not listening right

  • the marshall mathers lp is no doubt eminem's best album

  • if u give this a 6 then what do u give a ten 2, i look forward to having a good old chuckle at ur answer

  • not only r u a gobshite ur arrogant aswell

  • you em fan boys need to chill the fuck out. just because he because he said something negativea bout em you're all freaking out. people are entitled to their own opinion, i love em but i understand his points and he made some good ones. but i do disagree that its only a 6, the lyricism that em and royce have is still some of the best your gonna find, it at least deserves an 8

  • @KingJT66 eminem's fan base consist mostly of dickriders who think eminem is the best thing since sliced bread and hip-hop was created by him. i'm a fan of eminem but the stans piss me off.

  • @trudon agreed. im a fan but i know when he fucks up like with lighters....ugh

  • @trudon

Most artists fan base consist mostly of dickriders. Pac's, big's, nas' etc.

  • yeah m8, ur a gobshite and u dont have a clue what ur talking about. its the illest album of the year

  • I hate when people r rite on point w/ther reviews on how ur favorite rappers new ep is not the best thing in the world like u thot it was... dam it.lol

  • who do u think u r to be judging eminem who is one of the greatest rappers of i time and personally my favorite....everything u said about this review was pure negativity ....just say this album licks balls like yourself while ur at it......dont criticize on wat u cant do

  • Eminem, will always be the greatest. no matter what happens now, and then. Try to write anything better, anything he does, are great.

  • @BtownBergen hes not the greatest hes not even top ten theres plenty of rappers better than em ever heard of Big L Big Pun listen to jay-z before he retired resonable doubt is better than anything em has ever put out you seem like one of those people who only know emienm and other mainstream rappers search a big L song and tell me em is better

  • @dmdpro5 lol

  • @BtownBergen It's shocking how a rapper can admit that he's not even top 5 all time, and STILL have so many white people willing to gargle his semen and call him the greatest of all time.

  • @ReturnOfTheZ actually em thinks hes the illest ever and it just so happens that he is, hes the syllable master

  • @jimbillinski First of all, if you think syllables are the only important thing in hip-hop, stop listening to it. Second, there are many rappers that murder Eminem in terms of rhyme density.

  • @ReturnOfTheZ no i dont think syllables are the only thing in hip hop, theres flow, beat, lyrics and hes got all that. name these other rappers please

  • @jimbillinski Eminem does have a nice flow, but his beats all sound the same, and his lyrics are just... Multis. As for rappers with more rhyme density... Well, I don't mean to sound like a hipster fag or anything, but you asked me to name 'em, so.... Pharoahe Monch, Big Pun, MF DOOM, AZ, Gift of Gab, Kool G Rap, Inspectah Deck, Big Daddy Kane, R.A. the Rugged Man, Tech N9ne, Elzhi, Tonedeff, Crooked I, Black Thought

  • @ReturnOfTheZ yeah big pun is awesome especially the track twins, shame he died like, and kool g rap is awesome aswell, all excellent rhymers, but for me eminems just writes masterpieces and has good sense of humour, multis, compound sylalble, flow, hes got he whole package as far as im concerned like, thats just my opinion

  • @ReturnOfTheZ don'r forget ill bill, vinnie paz, reks, celph titled etc etc

  • I liked Relapse alot, I don't understand how alot of people dont like it.

  • @hud4094 because it was a piece of shit!!

that Album was made for pussies!!!

  • @hud4094 It sucked dick. All those accents and the songs were about nothing. Bad bad album.

  • @Unlyricallyrics most of those sings did have meanings, and i hardly even noticed his accent.

  • @hud4094 The annoying accent killed any quality the album had

  • @hud4094 Relapse wasn't his best album if your looking at the actual stuff he raps about. However I, like you, loved Relapse because of one thing most people dont really look at which is the lyricism and word play. This is one of the better albums because of that although i still think The MMLP and The ES were his greatest albums.

  • @hud4094 The accents.

  • @GoldStandardPunk66 He's going in and out of moods just as someone going through a relapse would, that's how I took it. How could you make an album titled "Relapse" any more fitting?

  • @hud4094 I'm just saying that the accents did not register right with my ears thats all. Relapse was an o.k album with good lyricism (for the most part) and beats. Just a downer considering I was waiting five year for Eminem to drop a new album and only got Relapse. Also We Made You and Crack A Bottle were awful.

  • @hud4094 it seemed too sloppily put together, if that makes sense. It didn't have that wow factor that all Eminem albums usually have.

  • @TheM3talH3ad1 But you can't deny he truly embraced his new mind state from the relapse off those pills into a revamped slim shady with a completely new style to Hip-Hop.

  • This guy is a fucking idiot

  • @klamathunion44 He doesnt even know who the members of Slaughterhouse are!!!!

  • I strongly agrea that this album deserves a 7 but if you listened to the extra tracks on the deluxe edition the songs living proof and echo really make the album allot better. I give it an 8.5

  • i like the new eminem as well as the old eminem, but to all the haters of the new eminem...i bet if i were 40 years old, i would probly be the laughing stock in hiphop if i rapped like em did in his 20's forreal...his rhyme schemes are better now, he has some slim shady moments, just more mature now...his metaphors are better, content is more serious, but if u dont like that, just like jayz said "niggas want my old shit, buy my old albums"

  • idc what any one say Eminem is still the lyrical metaphor assassin

  • u think to much about their music. remember that they are really talking about nothing but this is still one of the better albums of this generation

  • oh and you saying "my bad" in annotation doesn't make you less of a dumbass too

  • You're taking music seriously, well you said it, you're a nerd, and Lighters being there isn't out of place and Fast Lane's hook is good.

    Horrible review

  • @kod2600 Lighters fucking sucked. Putting Bruno Mars on a track almost ruined the album for me. The rest of the songs are good, but the hooks could have been better on some songs.

  • @Guitarrassdeamor You can hate Bruno Mars there if you want but it's obvious how good the verses were from both Eminem and Royce on that song

  • Comment removed

  • My personal Favorite Eminem album is The Slim Shady LP

  • @6Wul0Won so did you like the ep??

  • this is a 6 and j cole is a 6? wowowow

  • i dnt care wat u guys think bout the old/new eminem. i luv him no matter who he is. wether hes marshall, slim, or eminem.

  • Ive watched this dudes reviews at first i thought he was legit....but fuck this dude is definately a hater he gives everything low ratings if you dont like the music go listen to your 1980's bullshit with rappers that had like 4 words per sentence

this is downright sickening and before you hate on this comment watch his other rap album reviews you will find out that this dude be trolling

  • pause at 2:46 and see the best face ever!

  • review hopsin raw :D

  • lmao

eminem has got some of the most hardcore annoying dickriders behind maybe only Tyler of OF.

Guess that's what having a mostly-white fanbase will do...

  • @TheMadnessFlow lol i know right thats exactly wat i think

  • SSLP-MMLP-Eminem Show-Infinite-Recovery-Relapse-Encore

  • you want the old eminem buy his old shit and leave the new mature grown up eminem alone thank you!!

  • Everything this guy said about the album and Eminem is accurate. And also if you're a TRUE Eminem fan, you'll know that Eminem is shit and mainstream than he was younger. Eminem is garbage now and mainstream. It's disgusting how people think he's still nice and/or better than he was before. If you think that, you're really not an eminem fan.

  • @MrAhejil WOW, YOU KNOW NOTHING!!!

  • 1. MMLP

    2. The Eminem Show

    3. SSLP

    4. Infinite

    5. The Freestyle Show

  • @The12Jacob

Yeah I agree.I think during 2000-2004 was a good year for him because most songs in that year are amazing as I remember.Songs like till I collapse, lose yourself, sing for the moment, rabbit run,8 mile, and many more great songs that by the time you read this is already 5 mins passed. But Em is goin to be 40 and has a daughter who is going to marry in another few more Years. He's mature now and content is way different if you compare.

  • I still think The Eminem Show is Em's best album.

  • @The12Jacob Hell yea!

  • @The12Jacob Psh, Marshall Mathers LP was way better.

  • @The12Jacob One of the worst in my opinion haha

  • @The12Jacob Not S.S or M.M. LP? Wow

  • @The12Jacob totally agree

  • Lol at these old school em fans.

Em is almost 40. Do you expect him to rap like he did when he was in his 20s? He's matured. Did you stop to think that maybe relapse/recovery content are what the titles say.

  • fuck u all eminem rules ! bitchs pussys nerds !

  • Does em really need to be broke and mentally troubled for him to bring out creative shit like he did in slim shady lp and eminem show. I mean. Wheres that em at? and dont give me any of that hes rich now bs.

  • The fast lane hook to me reminds me of the hook from Loyd Bank's "Warrior" remix.

  • Put a gat in your mouth and pull the trigger. pleases

  • 0:43 was epic!

  • Comment removed

  • do illmatic by nas. ik its old but its prob the best album out there

  • @bobbbyyyyy1 I agree.

  • It fucking sucked. Eminem isn't able to make good music anymore. He needs to retire.

  • If Eminem can produce something like Infinite that would be great.

  • Royce's lyrics are awful. He's got a great flow but the dude can't write worth a damn

  • @BSMitchell1 Bullshit Royce's lyricism is amazing he has written some crazy lines go and listen to his old music.

  • @triXz7 His old stuff was better but a lot of this album was pretty weak. "Graduated from master debater slash massive masturbator". Because aparently we're too dumb to get the joke without him explaining it to us. He's got a good sound he's just not quite as clever as he tries to be.

  • @BSMitchell1 royce lyrics sucked? then whose lyrics are good. nicki minaj?

  • I hope you die kid. Don't review shit anymore

  • royce da 5'9' is better

  • this lp sucks. recovery was better

  • @3y3n5tyn This wasnt a LP its a EP

  • nah man bad meets evil is a classic. I agree with you on the bruno mars thing. I hate his voice lol

  • @Quronik804 dude the album was beast and then i heard "this one is for you and" and i was like *palm to face*

way to kill the album u cunt!

  • i remember a time when during the late 90s with Slim Shady ep everybody bought it and went so crazy that the rewind the song cause the lyrics were so fucking amazing.

  • Haha, Lighters kept me away but after watching this I might listen to more tracks

  • bro your telling me that you didnt like the songs sing for the moment mockingbird till i collapse beautiful not afaid cinderella man?? dude like wtf

  • @prototypex39 yea those were his worst songs.

  • If you listen to the lyrics in Em's verse in Above the Law he KILLS that shit. He's got to be the best at implementing wordplay into his songs. And I thought Encore was alright too. Relapse was annoying cuz of the damn accent. Recovery sounded alright at first but got really annoying after a while.

  • Lighters really disappointed me but other than Royce and Em make a pretty good duo

  • i was hoping that the EP would be like old school Eminem, but idk, Bruno mars should never be on an eminem track, its Bad meets Evil, no pussy songs with people like Bruno mars, eminem back in the LP days would kick himself in the dick for doing a track with him.

  • laisse tombé !

  • okay.. this album is a solid 9 to 10. you are right about corny hooks but you cant complain about that when listening to the verses.. This is probably the best rap duo i've ever heard.. and I guess your just ignoring some of the great songs Em has done after the MMLP, and yes, even on Relapse

  • Bad is royce and evil is Em

  • He's not a big fan of hip hop

  • I'd give it a perfect 10.

  • I'm sorry but you didn't like The Eminem Show????!!!??

in my opinion its his best album

  • @MrXphoid1 lol seriously.

The first three Em albums were classic albums, and are widely regarded as such.

Also, Eminem's Stan is superior to any song from kanye or jay-z

  • ABOVE THE LAW AND TAKE FROM ME IS LIKE THE HARDEST SONGS ON THERE... ABOVE THE LAW THE CHORUS IS TALKIN ABOUT HOW THE POOR SUFFERS WHILE THE RICH WONT HELP SO THEY DONT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT BREAKIN RULES AKA ABOVE THE LAW... LEARN HOW READ BETWEEN THE LINES

  • I think its one the best EP or albums from the last few years.. only lighters with bruno mars sucks asssssssssssssss

  • Truth is Eminem lost his touch after he stopped taking drugs, same thing with Kid Cudi recently.

  • @ScrollerRoller You do know he was hours away from death. You want him to go back to that shit again??????

Encore was the album that came out when he was on drugs not the ones that came before that. Leave all that the fact you want Em to go back to drugs.......... Fuck You!!!

  • @ScrollerRoller if these artists need drugs to be good, they're not good fucking artists. personally though, i think we should give cudi a little bit more time before we make a snap judgement.

  • I think this guy review is bs this ep is very amazing the way eminem nd royce feed of eachothers verses is fantastic I really hope they continue as a duo! Eminemm best rapper thumps up if you a gree with me

  • THe ep is a fuckin classic! A perceft combination ! The duo is great) I love every track on the album. Em each year since his return keeps gettin better & better ! I think soon he release somethin as good as his "marshal mathers lp" ) Anyway love the bad meets evil ep, it got hyper active energy, sick flows, crazy beats, ill rhymes THIS IS REAL HIP HOP ! (expet 4 lighters. Hate that song)

  • The Reunion is really good, it is my favorite song. But songs like a kiss & fastlane are getting it down. I agree, you are bad meets evil? So make that kind of songs. Not Bruno Mars the guy that every girl loves. (Not that it is a bad song, but i doesn't fit on the album)

  • For me, this album out weighs any faults it has with its groundbreaking rhyming dynamics. I simply just don't listen to a few songs, and stick to what I love about this EP. Which is damn near everything else.

  • You should review Eminem's Infinite....

  • Not sure if it was mentioned, but I wouldn't consider Slaughterhouse as a "Detroit rap outfit" since Royce is the only member that's from Detroit.

  • i jst bought this album today. my review wud be - 7/10.

  • you are such an irritating pretentious music snob, who is basically just blabbering about your own un-insightful opinion-it's a long rambling and poorly constructed criticism that lacks focus-it is an ode to, loving the sound of your own pompous voice-to answer your question, "what sould i review next?" I would say maybe you should review the feedback you're getting

  • i think the eminem now brings down royce a little. cuz their is certain things royce cant say cuz of ems mainstream fame, royce cant unload with sick rhymes because mainstream listeners arent smart enough to get it. if you listen to slaughterhouse you get more of a sense of royces style, cuz hes around 3 other dudes that can actually spit better than him, no disrepect to eminem, everything before relapse is hot, but he cant contend with slaughterhouse, they are true lyrical masters of hip hop

  • @jdls12 Idk when he said he was on fire off the top like MJ's activator....that sounded like the classic royce to me! It was a lot they both said that would go over mainstream listeners heads. The only difference to me is the production...a Royce album usually has more samples and bad meets evil had more synthesized sounds in it.

  • it wasnt a very big or important album, but did u listen to the eminem show? DUMBASS

  • This guy is a fucking douche

  • @strangemoto He's just giving his opinion. Why you so mad for?
