Best had terrible unit composition and incredibly weak defense. His only base that was mining was constantly being harassed and he didn't do anything about it after countless drops and vulture run-bys. He constantly threw away his units into walls of tanks. He didn't use a single High Templar which could have been incredibly useful for taking out those grouped up tanks and vultures. And he barely started upgrading after Lomo was already finished with his second armory. Outplayed.

the game wasn't at all won on 'one good push'. it was won via camper terran. Best did what a toss has to do, keep the troop count low (a 200 terran army is far more powerful than a 200 protoss army, since the terran are an all ranged army) but Lomo kept his scv lines safe, so even in losing a few command centers, his line was always active at some base or another. Best did not; Lomo got his massive army, melted the final push with plenty left over to end Best's production. pure camper terran.

terran spammed the whole map with mines, camped ramps with tanks, turtled pretty much the whole fucking match, harassed with cheap-ass vultures. he may have won, but the way he won isn't very honorable.

protoss should have prioritized his expansions, considering how expensive his army is. defending 12 o' clock with a single fucking cannon? i don't think so. he should've used reaver drops rather than recalling a huge-ass army only to be annihilated by turtling tanks.

You might as well outright say "I'm a T hater and I think TvP is imba." Lomo played great this match, using a brilliant 5-fact timing push to destroy BeSt's army and kill some of his eco. Lomo follows up with a 3rd expo before BeSt, which gives him a huge economic advantage (P eco = T eco if P is 1base up). The whole game Lomo harasses well and sets up appropriate defenses - he saw the early arbiters, so he stayed in his base to "outlast" BeSt.

First of all, i'm not going to admit Lomo was turtling the entire game, because he wasnt. You could argue that he was turtling for a few minutes after the first two arbiters from BeSt as a STRATEGIC RESPONSE, but the rest of the game he slowly expanded. If turtling means you use much of your army for defense and do damage through harass even though you are still taking over the entire map, you might as well call every reaver drop a turtle.

The big ramp towards the center would have been perfect to attack the tanks on the cliffs overlooking the mineral only. Destoying the second line of defence. A second group would have to hit that expo from the north hitting the primairy line. The perfect pincer.

I think toss went straight in to attack Terrans main army way too often which just wore him down over time. If he would have gone around the side and not directly into Terrans army Toss woulda won for sure

BeSt's first few attacks gave pretty equal outcomes, as Lomo only had a few tanks remaining, but he was already very behind in economy due to Lomo's 5fact push. Most of the game, BeSt was 1base behind, where he needed to be 1 base ahead to be on par with Lomo in eco. Lomo essentially decided to protect his expansions and prevent mining in certain areas with harass, and eventually BeSt was left with nothing.

to fight toss you need to utilize 2 important things that even a lot of pros below a class forget to do with T

1. vessels emp timed out ( this is crucial and so many newbs forget its importance.

2. 2 tank drop and 2 drop ship play. Most toss hold mid to get the extra expos off 2 drop ship play really makes the diff

hitting toss main while they put up 4th this is key and really hurts toss players even in s class
