This is what I like, you have a great music knowledge and can tell the difference between Rock songs especially as Linkin Park are my favourite band of all time. I hate when ignorant people say all Rock is the same when it really isn't, there are more types of Rock than RnB or Hip Hop so there are more Rock sounds.
see, this is why i listen to acapella versions of songs. i can choose if i want the instruments, the lyrics, or both and i never complain about it because i can mix match lyrics from on song and they sometimes match up with the instrumental versions of another song, many times from other bands.
Ok the point of this whole vid was to show that not all linkin park songs are the same. And clearly they are not. By the way- i thought this vid was really well made.
What you don't realize is that there is a different tempo in each song. While not all LP songs may sound the same...a lot of them do (mainly from the first two albums...their recent stuff is shit). I don't think he meant sound the same in terms of notes and chords...but in terms of style. They tend to start out with a quiet intro...then the entire band kicks in for a short heavy section...then a quiet verse...then back to the heavy stuff with Chester singing/screaming over it
@ShadowScope yah, I actually noticed that after i posted the video :P, and I agree the new stuff is shit, and although some songs sound the same, all have a different, memorable chorus/tune which is why Linkin Park is amazing
@ShadowScope I know this is a post from two months ago... But isn't it the same for a looottt of pop songs? Maybe not the heavy section, but most pop songs actually have the same buildup..
@Celestrall Yes. All artists (pop or not) generally have one sound. Every now and then they will change their sound for better (i.e. Breaking Benjamin and Audioslave) or for worse (i.e. Linkin Park and Metallica).
finaly someone took the time to find out for themself instead of saying " oh look a single shred of somewhat evidence of something lets all believe it" congratulations thewolfagency u are officially smarter than 99% of youtubers i applaude u

people should realize that one band producing songs is going to have similarity between them. Because that is the band's taste and sound.
