  • Shit @2:45 LOL

  • I found that in all planes the course direction has no purpose! how is this?

  • thnx man nice tutorial

  • noob question : how to open gps on virtual cocpit ?

  • HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have entered my gps settings to send the plane in the right direction to the airport of choice and i have entered the freq and the heading into the nav and placed it on the active side, i then turn on the nv1 button and get the morse code beeps but as soon as i switch from gps to nav the plane goes in some weird direction and never lines up with the runway i entered the freq for???? i have looked at dozens of tutorials and none of them helped

  • @MrSnogz because you have first to manually go to the first leg of the approach yourself. before hitting the Nav botton, also dont turn off the HDG button yourself, it will be turned off automatically. after a while switch to APP instead of nav when you are below the localizer slide

  • is there some other way to guide my plane to the airport runway???????? because i have reached the point where im about to give up on ils

  • @MrSnogz dude, if you can use the multiplayer, contact me and i will ride with you the same jet and help you learn it well.

it is very easy and fun

  • i have tried everything but ILS just does not work for me. I have done everything u did and when i click on the NAV switch the plane goes off into nowhere and never lines up with the runway. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG????? THIS IS SOOO FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the best thing to do when fsx is lagging and freezing is to ILS because it is hard to control

  • Also i love fs passengers so realistic u guys should downoad it

  • please help me, i can get the ILS to work put i have 2 decend my self. How do i fix this.

  • someone help me while im climbing say im like 10,000 ft from my cruising alttitude and my trim goes outta control and its like 12 all of a suddon and i stall...

  • where did you downoad that panel from?

  • Good ILS walkthrough, but whats going on with full flaps on take off and not retracting them?

  • @danny31235 im pretty sure i put the flaps up after takeoff but either way the video was ONLY to show the mechanics of the ils system. It wasnt meant to show how to fly correctly or even to use ils properly. Same with the landing i put the flaps full at about 300 knts.. big no no but just wanted to make it short as possible but still not cut anything out of the video.

  • @silencecom

Which test was tested on a altitude of 10.000feet. The wind resistance would even be greater at lower altitude as for increased PSI.

Sorry i couldnt wait to add up more to how badly you fail. The ILS button is easier to find it seems

  • @silencecom true true t

  • @silencecom can u explain to me y people set flap on takeoff doesnt that slow u down please reply

  • @CoFlyerProduction my best guess is that flaps create more life so make you take off easier. But thats just me.

  • @CoFlyerProduction lift -_-

  • thnx

  • And you CANNOT exceed 250kts below 10,000ft

  • @DaFSXLegend747 shut the fuck up i KNOW what i did and it was to save time. The SOLE purpose of the video was to help people understand the mechanics of ils. Thats ITS. Go troll somewhere else.

  • @silencecom

If you set flaps at full @ 300knots they would fall of like a leave from a tree.

On most 2 turbofan jets the first flap setting (1or5degrees) is set at 220-240knots. Thats like a very small setting. The full 30degrees setting is applied before entering the glideslope on final aproach. Usually in a 140knots wind environment.

You wanna apply full flaps at more then twice that speed.

I wish you good luck with that in a real plane. As it so happens, the structural damage of

  • @silencecom

full flaps setting is by much chance tested at 300knots winds. By so much change this is the structural tipping point. Even if they wouldn fall of, you would gain lots of wing damage, probably enough to disable your ability to land.

  • @silencecom

But fsx doesnt simulate that, even with full realism settings who I must say, arent very realistic in many more ways other then flaps or aircraft damage. So how could you know?

What angers me is that you use words as fuck you and such.

    Applause master pilot.

  • @Armigo91 i dont care about any of your ramblings.. ive said it before and il say it again. THIS VIDEO WAS TO HELP PEOPLE UNDERSTAND HOW THE SIM USES THE ILS SYSTEM.. it is in no way me trying to show how to correctly fly a plane in the sim or in real life. I know all about flaps, stress, lift etc ive spent my entire life in aviation. I dont sim anymore and i no longer upload sim videos to youtube. They just exist so luv em or hate em

  • @silencecom this video is way too long :( too tired to watch them non stop.

  • @DaFSXLegend747 i fuckin said it in the video

  • You were flying way too fast with the flaps extended

  • how to change 747 skin?

  • if u push control and shift and t on 2d cockpit and then plus or minus u can make your panel invisible

  • best tutorial i have seen thanks man u have helped me loads

  • best tutorial ive seen u are the man uve have help me absolute loads cheers man

  • @silencecom do the airspace lines in red mean restricted airspace on the gps?

  • Hey how do you open up GPS while in virtual cockpit? i can only open it up while in the Cockpit only.

and also, My gps doesn't look like urs, why is tht? mine shows a blue circle with a white line inside it which is the runway.

  • sounds like you are navigating with the gps. try putting the switch on the dash panel by autopilot to gps. Then anything you see in the gps should also be on the panel. However if you are trying to fly an ils approach you want that switch on nav. you wont see the ils crs show until either you cross it or until you are lining up with it. The gps should be just a reference aid.

  • @silencecom go to views/instraments/GPS i believe.. either way its somewhere in the view tab. if your view tab isnt visible try hitting the alt key. i dont know why urs looks different. maybe if you do it the way i just said you might get the other one. sorry i cant check for sure right now i dont have the sim installed.

  • Why does My GPS Show the CRS but my Nav does not

  • @scorpsilentsights sounds like you are navigating with the gps. try putting the switch on the dash panel by autopilot to gps. Then anything you see in the gps should also be on the panel. • @silencecom thank you so much!

  • does someone know how to use the autopilot for take-off???????

  • I Have No Airplanes Folder On My FSX So How Do I Download Planes???

  • @Everything2192 Hi sorry for taking so long to get back to you! Try looking in the FSX/Sim objects folder

  • thank you very much , keep up the good work :)

  • Why is urs cockpit gray insted of brown like mine on my default?

  • @flightsimulatorify Hi i have a textures update. If you look under the video in the details you will find a link to download them free. hope this helps!

  • @silencecom are those real textures??? now a days?

  • Looked great to me. Really helped.

  • i just found this randomely

  • Hey guys if these videos help anyone plz lemmie know so i know weather or not to keep making tutorials.. along the same lines if anyone has any suggestions as to how to make them better that would be great.
