@moofilms2121 Check out Chase Jarvis' key note address. Its about an hour long, but its full of useful nuggets. After the halfway mark, he invites 8 other photogs up on stage to talk about how they got started, the importance of social networking, etc. Its easier to make it as a photographer now than it ever has been. Start up a Flickr account or a blog, get your stuff out on the internet and market yourself, thats a start, but be sure to check out that vid.

Because x-ray scans at aeroports can damage film, well maybe not in America or Europe but in some parts of Africa or Asia the output of the scans can be very strong...Especialy with 120 film that doesn´t have a case to protect it like the 135mm does

Also, if shooting on film, many travelling photographers will simply purchase film at their destination rather than pack it in their luggage, and then mail it home or to their editors or wherever it needs to go. National Geographic did it this way for decades. None of their photographers flew with film.
