You do wood working for a living and you made this project so complicated.....
On the runners you could of added glue to the runners then lay your play on top square it up clamp it down let it dry flip it over counter sink and drill. oh and BTW it's 2011 get some Lithium battery drills, NiMH batteries are soo 2005 :)

could that plywood have been any more bowed? Other than that, nice video, but I have to agree it was made more complicated than I think it has to be.

You had my thoughts I think Canadians may be afraid of glue!!! Can't comment on the batteries I still have cords!
