Many of the "seated" people were not hard core Killers fans, they went to the show because they had bought the tickets for the whole Summer Concert Series you could tell just by looking around that it wasn't the usual crowd you would expect to see at a Killers gig. I was on the barrier having a great time & didn't even realise anything was up until Brandon had his Brantrum. It was actually pretty crappy that they hightailed it out of there with no encore (maybe one song?) or thanks for coming.

Ive experianced this at gigs, the last gig i went to, me and my mates went absolutely mental and stood on quite a few toes belonged to grumps with their arms folded. My Killers concert wasn't too bad, that was Sheffield UK.

even tho i must say that i went to 3 killers concerts in europe and 1 in america and they have been completely different crowds.

the people here in europe usually freak out all the time the killers are on stage. no one would even dare to sit down.;)

For a few of their shows at the end of this year they asked that there would be no seats in the venue. This is probably one of the reasons why. How the hell can you sit for such a mind blowing concert? A ruined opportunity of a lifetime.

i must say, this was my second Killers concert and the crowed really sucked.

The Killers had the ability to perform 10x better then how they performed there in Santa Barbara

I went to the one in San Jose in April, and that was a very good concert.. and performed at least ten more songs then they did here.

I felt lame that i had to be part of that crowd. I was in the Front of the pit and ppl were pushing and fighting there too

I'm shocked! How strange is that! It's not only just watching The Killers perform that amazes me; I always get goosebumps seeing the crowds go wild. It's a two way thing. The Killers should miss out Santa Barbara next tour. I feel sorry for those fans who wanted to let rip, but may have felt uncomfortable because they were amongst zombies. It happened to me before at the O2.

I agree. I went to this concert and the crowd sucked! the group that i was with we were dancing and singing along getting all crazy! but everyone around us just literally stood there or sat... boring as audience!!! I wish i could experience the killers again with a much BETTER audience!

I went to all of the Southern California shows and the Las Vegas one last night, and all of those crowds were great. especially UCI (and you could tell Brandon was really surprised about it- he was laughing & smiling the whole time) It was just this Santa Barbara audience that sucked.

I was at the San Diego show last night, and he mentioned you guys. He said that Santa Barbara, San Francisco, and Irvine showed them no love. In other words, yes.... He hates Santa Barbara. But he absolutely loves San Diego. Cuz he greatly appreciated the love we gave them, and he said that we made them feel good and comfortable. Oh, and one more thing. Not one person was sitting in the whole arena. We show them respect, unlike the rest of California.
