  • Well the main point of Bollinger Bands is to lookout for retracement, so if stock is outside of 2 bands it will probably come back within its range. However Bands adjust for momentum very quickly, and sometimes just staying at same price will get you within proper range, so I do not really put a lot of emphasis on it. But I would be hesitant to buy/sell if they are outside of range
