i went for a filling and my dentist didnt numb me enough because i was saying ow ow ow while he was drilling my tooth and my mom told the lady at the desk and she was making excuses for him
The initial shot doesn't hurt if you get the general topical gel to numb your gums, then they put the shot in and you can't even feel it cause you're numb! My dentist also hides the needle so I don't freak out.
My life sucks... I use to have perfect teeth! Nothing wrong. Now I'm 13 and it all went bad ;( I have cavitys, and my teeth arnt 100% white... Uhhhh I would love to get them fixed, but it hurts. I need alot of work... I don't have cracked teeth, just the insides... They dont numb me enough.. Uhh. :p it's from the candy like 5-7 yrs ago xD I don't eat alot now... Food or candy.

@psychojoker131 don't worry, most peoples teeth are not 100% white....as far as your cavities....you are 13 years old.....that means your parents have to pay for it unless you live in a country that has free National Health Care. Better to get it all done now at no cost to you than waiting till your 18 and your teeth are a mess "and you have to pay for it". Having bad looking teeth can keep you from getting a date, getting a job and a lot of other problems. Just do it.....get'em fixed
@inkey2 haha My upper molar cracked, and I got that 1/2 fixed. The fucking drill hurts like hell, that sharp pain. I was suppose to go back tomorrow, but my mom has work. Im kinda happy, but kinda pissed off. I need a root canal, My dentist put some medice in to kill the roots, and was gonna finish it tomorrow. But its filled in for now. I only have a few cavities, not bad at all. Im done being a pussy....LOL I just think of Horseback Riding, something I love. The time goes by like nothing!
Don't get silver fillings they have mercury, and will ruin your health eventually I learned this first hand...there is a reason you have so much fear going in there,
@almayatic about your dental phobia and panic attacks. this is my suggestion: Try going to your regular doctor. Tell him you need dental work done but you have panic attacks in the chair. Ask him if he can prescribe some low dose mild tranqualizer just to get you through the appointment. Tell him you only need a few pills.....just one for each appointment. Have someone drive you to the dental appointment. You don't want to be driving while on tranuqualizers. Good luck
