Personally, I think the question of abortion should be decided by the individual states. This aligns better with the constitutional powers assigned to the states and does not grant power to contrived court decisions such as Roe v. Wade.

Screw free health care. It isn't going to help anyone who is sick. First off, it takes much longer to get in to any doctor's office due to it being free for anyone. Secondly, the doctors have less of a reason to do a good job if they don't get good pay anymore. Finally, more people will not choose to become doctors due to the fact that it won't be as high paying as it is now.

There are some who believe as you say, but the other side of the question has to do with increasing federalism.
Personally, I think the question of abortion should be decided by the individual states. This aligns better with the constitutional powers assigned to the states and does not grant power to contrived court decisions such as Roe v. Wade.

Seeing as most Iraqis say when polled that they were safer under Sadaam than they were post-invasion, I would say that the invasion has failed to bring peace and the conditions for democracy to Iraq. Since the terrorism in Iraq has actually rocketed upwards post-invasion then it is easy to predict that not only is the entire Middle East less safe, but Europe and the U.S. as well due to "blowback".

I highly doubt this organization is the heart of it. We need warfare to keep ourselves from being taken over, and we need welfare to keep the poor off the streets (I dont know how much you know about the bubonic plague, but much of it started because there were so many poor with unsanitary living conditions).

Dark raider FUCK YOU. Thats my first comment. Second, the ice caps are melting, the hottest years have been in the last 20 years (As boomtown noted) and NO this is permanent unless we do something. The natural warming cooling cycle does NOT involve massive amounts of CO2. We are at the tip of the iceberg, because the rest of it is already gone, and I wouldn't be suprised if humans were gone in the next century by war and environmental issues

Oh is that all? And in ten more years after that it'll go up a few more degrees. It's not like pollution is at a standstill, every decade that goes by that the overall global temp. rises, you have to take into account the overall rise in global pollution that is the source of that temperature rise. It's the ignorant people like you that don't realize it only takes about 5-10 degrees more to melt those icecaps and rise sealevels 20 ft. in some regions.

Global warming is not about animals or even nature. It's about us, it will hurt us directly. The planet will be fine there will be a new balance like always. The question is where does that balance leave us? Well we can already predict some of the terrible thing that will happen and change is never really good for the status quo.. WE are the status quo.

Screw free health care. It isn't going to help anyone who is sick. First off, it takes much longer to get in to any doctor's office due to it being free for anyone. Secondly, the doctors have less of a reason to do a good job if they don't get good pay anymore. Finally, more people will not choose to become doctors due to the fact that it won't be as high paying as it is now.
All that making health care free would give us is a shitty health care system in the end.

Free is an idea, not something that actually exists. This has never been more true than talking about health care. We pay for the health care with taxes. Its not free in any way shape or forum. How do you come to that conclusion? Give me one fact from your little ignorant brain that disproves the science behind global warming? Is it you don't believe that CO2 comes out of automobiles, factories... etc. or that it melts holes in the ozone layer? Cause it's common sense that CO2 comes from burning fossil fuels, then rises and damages the ozone layer, which is the Earth's blanket for holding in heat, air, and protecting us from the sun's rays.
