When I was first introduced to Transformers, it was through a VHS copy of a few season 3 episodes.

The first I watched, "Madman's Paradise" featured Grimlock heavily. That, along with this episode (which was also on that same VHS), helped cement him as one of my favourite Transformers characters.

I used to watch this episode all the time when I was growing up too, it was one of only two TF episodes I had (the other being Fight or Flee). I pretty much know them both word for word. The episode you're looking for is Call of the Primitives. You can find it on YouTube. It was unique in the sense it was animated by a different team from Japan compared to the other episodes (well, that's what's rumoured).
