friends, but i think now ive seen its the sadest ever story wrote that ive read so far, and after watching the film , i was so emotional, okay im a guy but i am allowed to feel emotional, because there are people ou there in real life who suffer like this, words cant explain what i feel for the characters george and lennie, but to feel for some one thats true friendship.#
i read the book in my english class it was really good and is now one of my favorite books because it actually tells you a story about two friends who are emotionally both
george shot lennie because he knew if he didn't get lennie professional help it would get worse and he went to get a beer because he wanted to drown his sorrow. and of course there is racism it was in 1903 when they still had it. also you pronounced the author's last name wrong you said it like STEENbeck but it's pronounced like STINEbeck you know like R.L. Stine. :)
the book of mice and men was alot better, expecialy in the ending. It showed alot of emotion and the movie was lacking the irony in the ending aswell. The reason that george shot lennie in the back of the head because curley was going to shot him in the stomach, causing him to suffer for what he had done to his wife...and anyways i had to write a contrast essay about the movie and the book and the movie had left out lots
George shoots lennie in the back of the head at the end. Sorry If I ruined it for u.

I thought the movie was better. The book had a stupid ending. I mean, who would just shoot their best friend and just go off to have a beer?
