Hello All, Challenge: What can a gay male NOT do that a straight male can? Since we're talking about "rights". A gay male CAN still get married to a female. The same rights consistent with a man using a mens restroom, not a female restroom. No right was taken away. This now morphs into "marrying someone of their choice", keyword "choice". Choice decisions that have no Biological bearing do not/should not constitute discrimination.

Cajenigs, I'm a devout Catholic, but there's a thing called separation of church and state, and there are OTHER RELIGIONS too.
Marriage is a right given to us all, not just straight Christians. If someone suffered some kind of bad childhood experience and become homosexual, that means too bad for them and they can't get married?
Some people just can't change, and it's not our business to deprive them of love and marriage.

I think all marriage should be banned. Gay, straight, farmer to goat. The divorce rate is so high and most relationships don't last past 5 to 10 years.
But hay if Gays want to pay alimony give 1/2 their 401K to someone else they don't like anymore etc.. then I feel they can be just as miserable as straight people, but why would they want that?

I don't understand why people are protesting again the Supreme Court's decision to uphold Prop 8. It passed in November and there is every reason to uphold it. This is America, and through democracy people were able to vote Yes or No on the proposition, so if you want to complain about the democratic principles that this country was founded on, then maybe you should move to another country.

Sorry, but I just say no to gay marriage. Its not Christian, and that's why the courts are keeping this way. Its not about just simply marriage, but marriage is supposed to be between a Man and a Woman. We wouldn't even have gay people without the fact that a man and a woman created them to begin with. True, there is a law in the Bible that says homosexuality is an abomination, but than again, so is tattooing, toleration other religions, that its okay for a soldier to have sex with a prisoner of war or keep them as slaves, and that if a woman's head isn't covered, all her hair has to be shaven off. Actually, I HAVE. The men of Sodom and Gomorah were storming into Lot's house DEMANDING he give his sons up (and of course, Lot offers for them to have sex with his daughters instead. They don't mention about the sons offering themselves to the men, so gay partners who agree to have sex on will are NOT engaged in sexual harassment and hence, the act is NOT Sodomy.

Hello All, Challenge: What can a gay male NOT do that a straight male can? Since we're talking about "rights". A gay male CAN still get married to a female. The same rights consistent with a man using a mens restroom, not a female restroom. No right was taken away. This now morphs into "marrying someone of their choice", keyword "choice". Is it a choice for a serial killer to not kill? Can he claim discrimination since society made his "passion for killing" illegal? I absolutely agree that we have certain likings for one thing or another. We don't all like the same flavor ice cream. I do not use biology as my defense, I use it to contradict the whole "discrimination" wild card that pro gay marriage attorneys try to use. African American and Hispanic are not the same as gay or decaf coffee drinkers.

But killing is illegal for everyone. It's not like some people can and others can't. If marriage were illegal for everyone, it wouldn't be discrimination. But the fact is that we are singling out certain people to restrict.
