for people raging at lack of wifi like i was: download broadcom wl .pet (google it its on a forum somewhere) install it, blacklist ssb and b43, reboot and ur done!
this will solve many cases as broadcom is becoming more the norm

@snkjack yes it can and there is a utility that allows you to install to a flash drive.
