You have to sign up to take part - as far as I know there is a limit to the number of runners that can take part for safety reasons.

Ha ha ha ha - I was the bird in the white boiler suit & bikini, one of the rear guard. I thought I was going to die out there but unbelieveably my hubby wants to do it AGAIN. I remember very clearly the comment of the marshall as he chucked my floundering teammate a rope 'It's gonna take us f***ing ages to get you lot out of 'ere". It spurred me on to finish 198th

Well done - I thought all of you who took part were heroes - it was a freezing cold day too! Well done you for even finishing, a lot didn't. I think I see you with two people one on either side. I'm hoping to take more vids of the next one, hopefully with a better camera - I'll keep an eye out for you !!!
