hey i bought a air compresser it is 2 hand (never used ya sure) and all he said was that it was 120 psi i know what that is but i want to use are tools with it and they have cmf
but i dont know how many cmf mine can put out any advise
the abbreviation your looking for is cfm, not cmf.
it stands for cubic feet per minute.
as for this unit of measurement, i do not use it and ive never seen an aircompressor, or tools, using that type of measurement. but if your living in a different country, try a local supplier, they may be able to help you out with your dilemma, as if it is a common measurement where your from, then they would be able to help you with the conversion. sorry, but i cant help you with this.
A brilliant video! Thank you so much for posting. :)
Questions: 1) Can I fill up the tank while the hose is connected to the machine that I am going to be using? 2) I do not see a filter on mine; does that mean it has one internally? I do not see anything in the instruction manuel. 3) The machine that I will be using for the air is a maximum 70 - 80psi, does that mean that I set the pressure regulator to 70-80 on BOTH machines or just one? I have a Husky brand 3 gal. machine. Thx.:)
Thanks for the video. I bought a 5 gallon compressor in the spring and haven't used it yet. I'm going to use it this weekend to swap my summer tires to winters so your video was helpful. My unit is 125 psi max and has the oil window as well. It came with 4 tools and about 50 attachments (for free! ... about 400 CND dollars worth of stuff) The compressor was on sale as well for 170 CDN ... 50% off.
it would depend solely on the product you have bought. as it should state in its instructional manual what the correct operating pressure should be .
an example i could give would be a car tyre , as not all psi settings would be the same across a broad range of vehicles. 4 x 4's would have 35 - 38 psi , whereas a car would be 28 - 34 depending on its weight. air tools are the same.
manufacturers have different ratings for pretty much every tool. check the manual for the spec :)
at some stage in the future i will remake this video, along with a few others, as the quality is slightly dodgy. hopefully the remake's will be far more interesting and be better quality-wise regarding the production :)
Great !
