DJ Kadilac Wass goin on! Im Dj C Reelz I live in So Cali. Im very close to buying the DDM 4000. I Do not have 1300 for the 57. One of the biggest things is being able to cross fade video with audio with DDM. Have you tried that at all?
@hwilson506 i dont know if you can see that but it does look like hes hooked up to serato, i would assume hes hooked up to serato because behringer does not have any exclusive collaboration with serato so it wouldnt have any built in hardware by rane/serato.
What's the name of the first song you have on and how can I get it, lol? I like this mixer, trying to figure out if I should get this or to use another midi controller like the trigger finger or akai
I agree, it took some time to get used to the feel of the controls and the pots are not spot on. It seems like it should be alot heavier. I do prefer Serato just because I used it first and I'm comfortable using it at a gig. I don't have time to learn VDJ,TORQ, or Traktor. I'm just sticking to what I know. You can assign more functions than just scrolling however, you can never be sure that your laptop will end up right in front of you. Sometimes a dj both is set-up weird wo you have to adapt.
very nice!! There are more custimizing options then I you can imagine! Buy it! The only flaw is the crossfader, but it's not a scratch mixer so it's hard to count that. I love it! I have a Rane TTM57 also but I have to think hard about which to gig with!>!
Does serato have other functions to control with midi? I mean, looking for songs just seems easier using the laptop keyboard right in front of you. Do you prefer serato to other dj software.
build quality doesnt feel all that great, only time will tell if it holds up to constant use, as for the sound quality, its ACE. this actually gives the DJM800 (costs over 3 times as much) a very good run for its money; a digital mixer that uses its "digitalness" to full advantage with some neat crossfader functions and most of the parametres are adjustable, eg eq's, fx, kill switches, etc.
is serato software for free?
