I agree the only available ranked is TDM koth always has 3000 playing quick at the most 500 ranked it takes forever to find a match I can play 3-4 quick to every 1 ranked , it's that bad even quick has stacked teams of at least 4 players
i once played a team in ranked where the enemy team had a 5+ w/l ratio and only one person on my team had a 2.0 and that was me, the rest were below 1 ---......-----
@zucock in quick match when you join a game in progress or sometimes in your first match, it sets you as the default character but then next match it will change. People aren't moving faster than you unless they are more experienced and fluid with their movements. And your weapons will do alot more damage if you get a perfectly timed active reload and there is a spawn shield for five seconds
Also how come most ranked matches all my weapons are less efective than everbody elses, also when I shoot players are invincible the first few shots making the execution noise

@jbrb02 Ranked usually has the most skilled players because they are usually in a team talking to each other. Ranked does not ALWAYS mean a better player, but you probably wouldn't bet a million $ on a team of lvl 15's vs a team of lvl 100's. Even so, its your personal prefrence how you like to play and what your mentality is.
@ImBarnett tbh.. all I played/play is TDM Ranked about 95% of the time and I got 100lvl about 1 month quicker then most people I frequently play with. Im not exactly a beast at the game so I get an average amount of points for each game so I do think that you get more players by consecutively playing Ranked. Just my opinion from my own expiriences.

Epic should have never introduce quick matches it should all be ranked but with no penalties when quitting just like in halo there is only one way to play which is ranked, gears is kind of like call of duty quick match joins games that have already started they should just look at how halo is instead and do it like bungie.

You cant play ranked in Europe. The playlist numbers are so low and it's gotten worse recently. Usually about 3 or 4 people in each ranked play list. I have to play against/with bots a lot of the time.
I just wanted to say that I am very appreciative for all the gears videos you have put up. Gears 3 is amazing, the only downside is that the community is small. I wish that KOTH had a larger exp bonus, even a 20 to 30 minute game doesn't give as much exp as a 10 minute game of TDM. But thank you for helping the community stay alive :)
On the quick match and bots.. I got stuck in a damn team, and I was the only human for like 3 freaking matches. I raged hard. And I recall cliffy saying "Oh don't worry, the bots will be bad ass when the game comes out" this was during the beta testing.
Well the games out, and the bots are as dumb as fucking box of rocks.
The bot, "Oh are you running toward those frag grenades so you can use them? I don't think so! *YONK*" And now I'm going to sit here holding them so you can stare at them.
Something really needs to be done. Ranked is losing more and more players each day. Epic needs to award players in the Ranked playlists with ribbons or medals, to have something to strive for.

You nailed it on the head. Most players in Ranked want good competition, and can handle a loss. Most players in QM quit constantly, are very sore losers, and waaay too concerned about their K/D....against mostly bots.

When you leave a quickmatch game, it does count as a lost in your stats. Also for Ranked, if a person quits, while they do get negative xp, it heavily impacts the team. At least with Quickmatch, other players will.
Yo, do you know if us over 100 will get the exp. we've gained 'cause I have 5.6 million exp on top of my level 100 and it would REALLY piss me off if I lost all of that.

I wish I could play ranked but its pretty much dead in the UK. The highest is TDM with 44 players which is to boring for me, I like the objective based games, but the only other that's even in double figures is KotH with 11, after that it's execution with 6 and the rest are lucky if they have 1 player.
@SellersLOL it will reset you to lv 1, but it will be a different color depending on what re-up you're on. You won't lose any of your unlocks either. Oh and you will have the option to re-up or not.
Shit how is there so many in your region. I'm in Scotland and I'm lucky if there's 250 on anything but quick tdm and koth. That's one of the reasons I don't do ranked, it takes ages to search and at the end of it the connection is never worth the wait. It's almost impossible to get a fast game in ranked execution with a decent connection.
Playing Ranked Stranded is excellent. Stacked teams in regular playlist really kills it for me, and I'm rarely playing with a full party. I do wish that you could stay with the same players in the next ranked match, and it would do a quicker matchmake to fill the slots of whoever lost, and then go right to voting. Going all the way back to the playlist menu and start a ranked search from scratch just seems silly and wasteful, and I like playing consecutive matches with the same people.

The only problem that i have is that i play warzone only since they took out guardian and friday night there was 35 people playing rank in my region. so thats why i play alot of quick match would play ranked but there is no point being there made a total of "maybe" 130 max on during the weekend!

You nailed it on the head. Most players in Ranked want good competition, and can handle a loss. Most players in QM quit constantly, are very sore losers, and waaay too concerned about their K/D....against mostly bots.

man arctic, all me and my mate can play in Australia is quick match. ranked is dead, like only maybe 10-15 people play ranked the rest dive into the jumble that is quick match. really disappointing since the level of skill is massive between ranked and quick match, and its really hard to improve things versing people who aren't better or equal skill as myself.

When you leave a quickmatch game, it does count as a lost in your stats. Also for Ranked, if a person quits, while they do get negative xp, it heavily impacts the team. At least with Quickmatch, other players will.

I wish I could play ranked but its pretty much dead in the UK. The highest is TDM with 44 players which is to boring for me, I like the objective based games, but the only other that's even in double figures is KotH with 11, after that it's execution with 6 and the rest are lucky if they have 1 player.

Shit how is there so many in your region. I'm in Scotland and I'm lucky if there's 250 on anything but quick tdm and koth. That's one of the reasons I don't do ranked, it takes ages to search and at the end of it the connection is never worth the wait. It's almost impossible to get a fast game in ranked execution with a decent connection.

Playing Ranked Stranded is excellent. Stacked teams in regular playlist really kills it for me, and I'm rarely playing with a full party. I do wish that you could stay with the same players in the next ranked match, and it would do a quicker matchmake to fill the slots of whoever lost, and then go right to voting. Going all the way back to the playlist menu and start a ranked search from scratch just seems silly and wasteful, and I like playing consecutive matches with the same people.
