After the poor adaptation of the UK "The Office" series, they seem to be on a copy-spree. This rendition is clearly copied from the "Garth Marenghi's Darkplace"-series which depicts a 80's horror-comedy including intentional bad acting. These series are viewed from the perspective of a fictional character called Garth Marenghi (author of horror books, the paranormal and occult) and investigates paranormal events in a hospital called Darkplace.
