  • Mick Fleetwood sounds like a drumcomputer and the guitarplaying is bland. Brr, Fleetwood Mac really lost their identity in this Buckingham-less era.

  • One of my favourite DVDs released by Fleetwood Mac.

It would have been 10x better if Lindsey was there though :\

    Still awesome (:

  • God...she was just beautiful.

She had that special glow in her eyes...

    Love her!

  • That's a really nice version. The 'Behind The Mask' line-up certainly do a mean 'Dreams' as well as other Mac classics and BTM songs. I love Stevie's voice in this. There's something earthy and very, very dreamy about it.

  • not the same wthout lindsey.

  • Quote by magikbymoonlight: "This clip is from a low point in their career"

What a joke! If only 1000 of today's musicians could even reach 10% of the way to this "Low Point". Go back to Britney and all the other mind numbing crap.

  • I actually like this arrangement better than on Rumours.

  • Do you have World Turning from this concert? If so please put it up

  • Is there more to this concert?

  • Yep, they released the Video 'Tango In The Night' which was a tour started after the release of the album 'Tango in the Night'. It's now on DVD.

  • They would have been better off releasing the Mirage Tour video on DVD instead.

  • As for releasing videos onto DVD, I guess whoever makes that decision, thought it was best to firstly do the Tango in the Night album. That video has songs on there that everybody knows-people who aren't fans of the Mac.People know songs like Little Lies, Seven Wonders, Dreams, Don't Stop, Everywhere & Stand Back. Whereas the Mirage video has some really wild songs, I guess they just thought it would be better for sales. Although I would love for the Mirage tour to be released on DVD, it rox.

  • I love this song! Until a few months ago, I only thought there was the Corrs version. This version rocks though!

But what is up with the woman in black and her hair? It's really...different, but good different!

  • The woman in black with the hair is Steven Nicks. She wrote this song and it was a huge hit in 1977 with this band, Fleetwood Mac. This clip is from a low point in their career but check out her stuff from 1975 to 1983 with Fleetwood Mac, it's really good

  • I'd have to dispute that this was a low point in their career. The album had strong sales, reached the top 10, and generated 3 top 20 singles, Seven Wonders, Little Lies and Everywhere. The next album, Behing the Mask, was their first album to not reach gold status since 1975.

I would class a 'low point' in the career in 1994 - when they released the album 'Time'.

  • Lindsey refused to go on tour and the Rumors line up broke up. Stevie Nicks herself has admitted to having been burnt out and saying the magic was gone. Record sales were strong but so were Britney Spears. I still love a couple songs off of Tango in the night but many purists would agree, this was not a high point.

  • Well no wonder Stevie was burnt out, doing the rock-a-little tour, str8 in the Betty Ford, then immediately after leaving that clinic did the work on Red Rocks and straight in to work on Tango. Comparing record sales of Fleetwood Mac to Britney Spears is like comparing chalk and cheese. I do agree, not their highest point, but certainly not their lowest. The album really does have some great sounding songs.

  • Correction -- 4 top 20 singles. You forgot Big Love.

  • Yessum!!

I had listed (accidentally) the adult contemporary charts - Everywhere hit #1; Seven Wonders hit #13; Little Lies hit #1 also, Big Love hit #23. But all of these songs in addition to Family Man (1988) hit the top 100.

    Thanks for the reminder :)

  • Actually, on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart, the singles charted as follows: Big Love - #5, Seven Wonders - #19, Little Lies - #4, Everywhere - #14, and Family Man - #90. The Tango In The Night album was one of the best selling albums of the 1980s and it produced two of Fleetwood Mac's top 5 most successful singles (Big Love and Little Lies) according to Billboard. I think the album is of its time, but I love it and I think it has a very strong collection of songs.

  • Tango In The Night went to No1 3 times over the space of 2 years in the UK

  • Ummmm!! I do hope you meant to say "Stevie Nicks" not 'Steven Nicks' duh! lol

  • its stevie nicks
