  • Heard you on Bob Edwards too....see, dang it, now I'm going to have to get a 6120, thanks a bunch. :-] Modern version, unless I win the lottery or something...

  • you were super good on the bob edwards show today!

  • @kokomoization

Thanks so much. It was a lot of fun.

  • good shit bud

  • @rednekrab

    Thanks man

  • top stuff here fred, well done.

  • @ralphcraddock

    Thank you for stopping by

  • Are we ever going to see Gas Money play live again Fred? Great lesson thanks.

  • @almaink

Playing the S Jersey GDP roundup on 5/21. Audubon NJ. C'mon out.

  • Nice Pomp hair, nice shirt, nice tattoos, freakin' nice guitar, and excellent playing ! it's a pleasure to see people playing some real, and raw rockabilly ! hope you'll keep doing lessons ! ( most of the lessons out there suck : eHowMusic Alan trout's are great exemples of lessons that suck)

  • @TnTKid54

Thanks so much for the kind words. As you can tell I love to play guitar that works well with greasy hair.

    All the best

    Fred

  • @gasmoney51 speakin' about guitars, maybe you could help me, i'm undecided.

I'd like to buy a gretsch 6120 DSW, but the P90 6120 cochran style seems to great too. I'd like to know what you think about it

    thank you !

  • @TnTKid54

    They are both great guitars.

The P90 model will not have as much twang though in the rhythm position.

    Buy em both!

  • @gasmoney51 Ah if i could i'd buy all those beauties ! Thank you so much for you piece of advice ! I think i'm going to buy 6120 DSW 'cause i like the different look of the bigsby tailpiece. It's a shame they did not put that bigsby on the P90 one, it would have been close to Eddie Cochran's... and I wouldn't be undecided if there was a Cochran model ( beside the super expensive custom shop model )

  • @TnTKid54 the cochran model did'nt use the same kind of pickup on the bridge. It's a dynasonic not a filtertron like this one.

  • Absolutely great playing, Man !!! Thanks for sharing this with us

  • Your lessons are brilliant and much appreciated. You've shown me how to do stuff I've been puzzling over for ages....then I watch your superb videos and it's a lightbulb moment "Doh! so THAT'S How you do that!!!!"

Any chance of "my baby left me" for some more Scotty and some Buddy like "Midnight Shift" sometime?

    Thanks again!

  • great lesson Fred. I'll be trying to get my fingers around that stuff all day!

    can't wait for more

  • Fred, this is great. Thanks for sharing. You move quick so I have to pause a lot. Your videos are fantastic.

  • @shjhdhah Thanks and keep pickin' !!!
