This is a really good thing for handicapped people. Now it's possible to get out of the car and into the wheel chair while the car is in the open. and no longer be in trouble getting out of the door in the narrow space between the cars when parked.

VW Phaeton has two reverse lights, thats for sure, I'm not sure on the fog lights, but next time, I'll check. :D Anyways, most small cars have only one reverse lights, I think only elegant/stylish cars have two, if you know what I mean.

@mohicanin nowadays you can't have much benefit from using this thing...but in the far future when this park assist system is available in all cars as standard option then it'll make life easier ;) still you can use it in your own garage at home if it's not wide enought, besides that...you can't deny that it would be cool to have this option in your car :-)

@banstaman , yes they do need the owner driver to be there to assist the car and sometimes the car and assist the driver, they all good techolongy and all work different, the Lexus 460LS require the driver to apply break gently, the BMW Alpine 7serious uses a remote assist, its good 4 parking in a tight garage and the VW also uses the same technology but better, just like the BMW the driver can be outside the car but control the moment of the car by using the key remote. very good technology.
