@SparcoC4 not sure if he's answered this for you but you do what feels comfortable for you. there is no one be all end all answer to proper technique playing guitar. Not everyone will finger chords the same or hold the pick the same or even keep their wrists at the same angles. there are ways that are generally accepted as being "more correct" or "ideal" when it comes to these things but at the end of the day it's what works for you.

Why do you use pinky finger on power chords not the 3rd finger. I have seen some players doin it with Pinky, isn't that wrong?
