So there was no reason not to follow up with campaign promises, the Republicans couldn't stop them if they tried.

"She(clinton) believes that we have to force people who don't have health insurance to buy it" then he says"...individules would be required to carry basic health insurance.". while much of the report is valid, some of it is not. as far as spending goes, if you don't increase gov't spending in a recession, things will get bad fast. the budget (as sad as it is) had to take a backseat to the biggest financial crisis since the great depression. also, obama was talking about individual taxes, not the corporate and sales taxes mentioned as a "broken promise." and the obama white house is the most transparent in history, so picking on that isn't really the smartest move.

If youtube let me link it, I could link you to a website that shows how spending and Keynesian economics not only caused the Great Depression(thank Hoover for that one), but prolonged it 7 years because FDR did nothing but spend money we didn't have. The only people that have really had decent economic success weren't as hands on spending or cut taxes so the people could save more money and gain prosperity themselves.
