They did the same thing with this movie that they did with Mortal Kombat 2, tried to jam-pack it with too many characters, thereby sacrificing quality for quantity. The storyline sucked, and they tried to "wow" the audience with the current "hot" celebrities which I think is gay. George Clooney, Chris O' Donell, Uma Thurman, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Alicia Silverstone...way too many A listers for 1 film.

@Meganvxc Well Mortal Kombat in itself is a hard movie to do...because it already involves so many characters, but with so many characters, there's so many stories...too many to cram into one movie..as well as focus on the actual "Mortal Kombat" tournament. They tried to alleviate that with the new street fighter movie "the legend of chun li" and focus on one character at a time...but obviously it failed.
