it could be the first thing we see, the last thing we see, a vision of overwhelming terror or of perfect beauty. i thought of all the people taken by surprise by the sudden tsunamis. i thought if heaven, too, and the rapture of the deep. a voice was telling me to remember, but i couldn't make out the soft words that would clarify what it was i was supposed to recollect. the effect was mystical and tantalizing.

If you have a look at the link on the right, you will see some photos.. by others. I used to live just beside the 40 foot, in Sandycove. Co. Dublin Ireland. I watched the sea each day. in all kinds of weather. Dale.
