  • how do you rewind the film into the canister?

  • You all realize that there is a 35mm adapter for the Holga 120 which can be purchased on Amazon?!

  • @caryt59 you dont get sproket holes with the adapter and why do that this is more fun

  • @caryt59 The sprockets aren't exposed using that, which is kind of the point of doing this adaption, else people would just buy a Holga 135bc.

What's the song on this video?

  • @hybridatomsk This is the holga that has a flash, that's why there are batteries. The Holgas without the flash don't use batteries.

  • hello there. i have a video with a method to get your 35 mm film digitalized with a digital camera .look on to my channel. thanks

  • Thist was EXTREMELY helpful but I had a question:

when you insert the film & have it read to take a shot, how do you know when it's on the first shot? You know how on a 120 film it would display "#1" so you know to take a picture, how would this work on film that doesn't have then number?

  • I'm about to buy Holga 120 but I'm really afraid that I won't be able to load the 35 film correct, especially in the dark -))

Is it hard for a newbie?

  • @AbberlineArrol You don't load the film in the dark, you do take out the film in the dark tho

  • @rocksterize Thank you, my mistake. I managed to do it all)

  • hey, thanks. I am wondering if I would leave the foam IN my Holga (the foam that comes on the left and right sides when first ordered before I do this, or take it out? And if it is necessary to take the format square out (bc on a seperate video, he seemed to leave his in...along with the foam that "protects" the film and spool) Thanks!

  • so how do you know when the film is finished when you do this?

  • thank you so much! I recently got a holga and am very new to all of this. But your video was very helpful. Thank you!

  • That was definitely helpful :) i needed that info pretty badly :P

  • GREAT STOP MOTION!!!!!

  • @Ignocamps thanks :)

  • hi! i've been lookin for a video like this for a while! but i wonder if this procedure can also be done with a diana f+ 120mm

  • @gapolla I'm not too familiar with the diana cameras, although i believe they are fairly similar to the holga. If they have pretty much the same loading system as the holga i think it should work just fine. Try it out! :)

  • @gapolla hey, tried this procedure on a diana f+ yet? i got mine recently and I'm thinking that techinically it should work the same way sind the back and everything look exactly like the diana f+. and another thing: someone here said you cant get the holes with the adapter, so I'm assuming if you do it like that , there will be sproket holes?

  • thanks!

  • That's so cute! I love it!

  • This video must have taken so long to make! I appreciate you for taking time out of your day to show us how to do this.

    p.s good song choice :)

  • 3eb! nice camera too :)

  • 24 clicks?

    some say its 42..

  • I made this in high school for a project before i actually developed the roll of film. I added an annotation to that part of the video. It's best to either experiment on your own or to turn the wheel itself 2 turns because the click to the holga wheel can differ from camera to camera.

  • i heard 36...no joke!

  • wonderful video<3

  • THIRD EYE BLIND AS THE SOUNDTRACK?!!! YES!!! I'm a massive Holga fan and I am a life long fan of T.E.B. too. This vid made my day :D

  • so only 24 clicks in between each picture ? even before you take the first one?? also..when using 120 film do you just wind (after taking a picture) to the next number? i.e. 1 (in viewfinder) click wind wind 2 (in viewfinder)>? I just got my holga and I'm getting discourage before I start. I know I woudl take beautiful pics with this thing..but i just cant seem to get that far!

  • thanks after that it was so easy¡¡

  • really helped me out thx!

  • Hi, thanks for the viedo anyway. Uhm, I have a Holga. If I wanna use 35mm film, can I use a 120mm film again after using 35mm ? Thanks

  • Yes, just don't use the cotton and rubber bands with the 120 film.

  • Yeah, and don't forget to un-tape the red window. That's about it....except for the rectangle and square frames you can put back in.

  • hey i never thought about the two rubber bands when ussing 35 film.!

    haha

    thanks!

that helps to keep things straight

  • kk thx lots =D

  • hey just a Q to that..im a new user of the lomo cam...

in the red window i c lik say 2 or smth..do i stop RIGHT at the 2..lik haf the 2 at the center of the window then start shooting..or do i move past the 2 then start shooting before the 3 dots come in? thx

  • its 24 clicks? theres another video on youtube that told me 42 =_=

  • yeah, theres a lot of different numbers out there. i'd suggest experimenting with your holga to figure out what's right for your camera and film type.

  • Hi, this is a bit of a simple question, but where can you get the film processed?

  • a lot of places will process it as a normal roll of film, just make sure you write a note saying what you did or else they might think something is wrong with your film.

  • what does the term click stand for? is it the way how you turn the knob? you mean 42 turns to go to next film?

  • i'm sorry i don't understand the parte of 24 clicks i mean how can i know when to take the next photo...

p.s: im not very good with holgas! please help

by the way [retty good stop animation

  • Thank you,

I'm glad you mentioned to progress the film 24 "clicks"

  • have you had success with using 24clicks or would you suggest more?

  • Thank You Very Much.

  • Your a life saver.

  • Great thanks
