I own the 5 door and absolutely love it. I did add several extras from factory which made a big difference. The ride is outstanding and I am thoroughly happy with my purchase. These are no longer available, but the future Impreza models (2012) look amazing.
well i mean u dumass reviewer. cant u see that radio is not connected (see the perimeter gap lines) to the dashboard? u can take that out and replace with a fancier touchscreen navg radio. radios a radio for the average person. and 6 disc changer is not "ehhh fair" its more than what other cars have in their cd player. well of course its an 4spdAT. its the GT not WRX. if they got rid of the AT then might as well not make the GT cuz its just the WRX AT edition. altho WRX is alot faster n only MT

avg auto is 4 speed. If u havent notice 1st gear is longer then Menu. Look up any menu gear ratio an u will find out they avg 38-42 MPH b4 passing redline. Auto 1st gearratio is 55-65 MPH. If auto shift at low speed ratio then it be on 2nd gear most of the time. Trust me, i use to drive auto an know. Menu with low gear ratio then kinda suck cuz u b shifting avg 25-30 MPH if ur hitting tha highway at stop post. an 2nd gear usely 55 MPH. If anything i wish they made 1st n 2nd gear higher.
I say avg, unless ur gonna go with more sporty car like BMW or other high performance. I Agree having 5 or 6 speed would do great but usely more speed means alot of low ratio. If u notice auto cars are usely 2 sec slower 1/4 miles then menu regardless with even etc. Tho in many times if u do alot of daily drive with massive traffic in big city, then auto put in good uses.

FF Suck here when snow hit so plan for 2.5i impreza Menu. Even if u say go with 5S Auto its still pointless if u cant control it rite =). With Sport shift its still makes no diff sence u b 1st gear when stop. Thus u cant launch at 2nd gear like menu dose. I always stay 2nd gear unless i need to b on 1st. I drive many cars =)
I think subaru made a fail move not making the wrx with a auto trans option. Why waste money making the new shity gt when they could just work on there out dated auto trans and put it in the wrx.

The autobox on the old 2.5L-turbo engine is Slow. There is little to no performance whatsoever in this setup.
