Those displays can get anybody hungry ! I was told by a friend that you can actually buy these types of plastic food dishes. In Tokyo, places like Kappa Bashi sell them.

Besides being a very effective lure, or great for those that can't read the menu or talk the language, they would be great for any restaurant.

I normally find myself asking the waiter -in any restaurant I go to- what the serving is like because I want to know before ordering.

In south korea they eat live octopuses. they just wrap them around their chop sticks and swallow them whole. Do the japanese eat anything crazy like. that? lol

i see those a lot, but usually the model is well done as in looking good, but they fib to you as in what it really looks like

It's not plastic.these are wax.

Long time ago sample food are made from wax. But wax color get faded by light or sun light. So nowadays they are made from special plastic.

Not as real as the advertised Subway sandwich looks in the window. XD People who live in America know what I'm talking about. It's up next to the window to where you tell the people what you want on your sandwich.

I've seen one here in Canada but the actual food was drastically different from the plastic samples in terms of both colour and size. I was hugely disappointed.

We need that in the states, or I havent seen it yet, that would making food choices so much easier and there would be a higher possibility of trying new items on the menu.... But keep up the good work, love your videos.

That's the BEST! It all looks so good. If that is the size of portion and what it looks like when it comes to you then they are much better than some western fast food restaurants (won't mention any names ;-)

I always wondered why nobody else is doing it already.

I hear those are very expensive to make and once have it done, you can't change the real food too far differrent from the samples. Otherwise, you get complaints from the customers that the food on the table doesn't look the same as sample.
