I really love this. For a beginning class this is wonderful and gives an opportunity to run thorugh a list of basic movements..but for an intermediate class a chance to tighten up the isolations and work on real stage presence. I think this is put together VERY nicely...from a teaching perspective.

Thanks! I kept all the moves very simple for the very reasons you were talking about. For some reason, I couldn't get beginner students to practice much at home without giving them a basic choreography to practice.

I put this choreography together for students in my beginner level 1 class, so I made it basic and not too fast for them.

Excellent!!!!!! Isn't Solace great? And I must say, your video quality is really good. Can I ask what type of camera and specs you used? And are those Suhaila or Melodia pants? Good work! :)

Yes, Solace is awesome, especially for beginner dancers.

I use a Sony video camera which is great, but is a pain to get in the correct format to use for youtube. Sony does everything is a Sony format which makes things difficult.

They're Melodia's and I love them!!!

You're very welcome. These aren't the greatest clips since they're just me in my living room. They are really just meant for my students to practice with. But I'm glad you like them!
