  • Please! The next time could you next the drawbars you're using? Such as 16', 8' etc.

  • nice bro shout out from chi-town

    Artis brown organist

  • It's cool that you're breaking it down the way you did. Thanks for sharing.

  • IT would be easier if you just did all the chords in order slowly, and spelled them out as you went along vs the disclaimers about what you know, dont know we just want the chords man, showing the basic, and then adding the advanced slowly, spelled.

  • this video helped soooooo much, thanks for taking your time. And most importantly giving the formula. Its so much easier learning when there's a formula!

    Be blessed!

  • could u do another video so i could see what notes ur doin !!

  • Musical Wonder. Bless you. They call me muzikman. Doc. I don't want to say this about a child of God....But you are a BEAST. I thank God for your Spirit. You may not not think that you know the terminologies. But take it from a fellow musician. That has been Trained you are doing just find.

  • I love your videos.... I was wondering if you could do a vid about the pedals at the bottom of the organ? And are they like A B C D keys to? I always wanted to know that. B/c out of all the organ vids i seen on youtube noone really talk about the pedals.

  • my brother i really like what u said because it see like a lot of times when i preach some oragn player try to out do the preacher and i all ways wounder why they do that you here more of them then the preacher

  • Thank you very much!!!!!

    May your ministry be blessed!

  • I think you have the best preacher chord vid on youtube...

  • Thank you...your video was helpful!

  • You are hitting the nail right on the head....awesome

  • I believe playing a 5 bass with a 4 chord on top is called an 11 chord and it sounds great!

  • hey Musical wonder, when you were talking about playing that A note in the diminished, the A is acutally a diminished 5th or a augmented 4th.

  • thank you very much!

  • nice chords but could u do video of preachn chords in C ?

  • this is good very good. now one can not say that ,theres now god ,THERE IS A GOD HES NAME IS JESUS .

  • Nice man! GB. Can you do a video for Piano. I don't have an organ and have never been able to learn it. Would love some chord progressions for the piano for preacher fills.

  • Doing an outstanding job!

  • best.... this is indeed the best i've seen. and you taught me something cause i never really use the sevenths... just a basic minor triad but im about to go sit at a piano now and check it out... good work fam

  • this is great. can't wait to check out part 2.

  • I am beginner playing keys by ear. I don't read music at all and don't understand 3rd and 6th keys, minor/major anything. I will get it though. Y'all pray for me! I have wanted to learn preacher cords for a while now, but just could not put it together in my ear. You made this thing simple. Thank you! The WORD says study to show thyself approved, and that is what I am doing. So, thanks again for this tutorial. It has helped me greatly. Please do more.

  • thanks for the vid man ....

  • This video was very helpful to me and I want to thank you.

  • Thanks for using your talent to bless others and help us learn so we can be better worshippers. Bless ya.

  • Just like the world,if someone charged ($ )you for it there would be more appreciation and gratitude. Critics should post their theoritical musicical concepts and get payed. Stop hatin on the BRO just because you dont have any flavor.

  • NIce! thx

  • MAN i love to preach when theres one of those old school organs like that, do your thang bro!

  • great job I learned alot I mean alot

  • I don't know what these other "Schmos" are talking about....this video is very DECENT!!!!! This is really helpful..

  • All you need to do is not watch it then. This negativity is unmerited. Read down, a lot of people have been blessed by the video! :)

  • excellent work....I appreciate it....opened my eyes to some thangs...lol...but i would like for you to break down some of those runs you were making..as well the fingerings!!!!

  • Eb is so cool

  • Ur Silly!

  • obviously a hater. it is evident. you need to ask somebody. ask others how this man has helped them be able to put what they read with what they hear. you are really immature. ask older musicians what they think of the way this man has been unselfish to try to share what most musicians don't want to try to tell someone else.. he is doing his best to reach back and put what he does into words that people only read a little bit, can understand. can you do that??? ask yourself can you do it?

  • I was wondering if you could demonstrate how to play praise music to a congregation.

By the way thanks for this video clip it helps a lot. God Bless

  • Good stuff family, I miss that FL sound...and definitely some wisdom about not overpowering, it's seems like that's my biggest struggle with every band I play with...God Bless Dude

  • Hello, I just found you and I am praising God for I have been truly blessed. Thank you for taking the time to break it down.

  • My Brother. You really brought it home for me. I have been playing longer than you probably have lived. I have always wanted to learn "those" chords. Thanks for sharing. God bless you and your gift.

  • i totally agree u broke it down wat i really need... everybody else is jus givin notes and chords to play... but we need formula... after about 2 mins of watchin dis i have learned alot! thanks so muc God bless you brother! and please put more up

  • Thank bro! This is the clearest explanation on this I've seen yet!

  • God bless you, you help me Thank you and keep doin what you do

  • You bettah play that thang! L0l

  • This guy talks like idris elba..

  • oh yeah thats hilarious

  • great talent. horrible tutorial

  • Question?I see so many musicians so talented like this brother and I play organ also,my question is,where do they find the time to study?I'm killing myself,do they not have families or kids?

  • A lot of cats started younger, and/or they're single, yes. It's definitely time-consuming until you develop a foundation. Then you can learn tunes faster.

  • I used to play the organ in the church, when I hear segments like this I want to practice again. I know the new church I started at really needs some soul to its music....

  • i dont play the organ but i'm a preacher. its good to finally see the scheme and plan behind us preaching. i know what should should be heard from the organ, but its interesting to learn the names and the formulas. i would love to see a video or hear a tape of your close. good stuff man!!

  • Keep up the good work.

  • loved the lesson.hated the text. God bless you brotha, we as christians need to remember why we take theses lessons.........not to perform, but to perform

  • Thanks for the formula's! The lessons have been great. Will use them......thanks again and may God continue to use you mightily. KA-KA.

  • we might not be able to hear all the left hand bass on computer speakers, without some mid drawbars.

  • let me say first that this is good stuff, and I don't have an organ at my church I use a keyboard. do you have any video lessons for backing a preacher on keyboard in piano?

  • you can use the same backing on keys and piano's you'll just have a little more trills and play around with it a lot more thats all

  • first off let me say great lesson. CONSTRUCTIVE criticism: the diminished chord is the 3rd and 5th lowered not the 3rd and 6th...you accidentally said it twice even though you mention that Bb is the 5 of the scale throughout the lesson. GOD bless!!!

  • @layah8482

I do appreciate your knowledge of theory, however, he did say several times that he didn't know all of the names of the chords and to "bare with him".

  • i understand totally and, because i was able to look past that, i learned something VERY useful. i was just trying to return the favor. since he honestly said he might not know some information, i was trying to, for lack of a better phrase, "fill in the gaps" so that he will know in the future. i did not mean to offend anyone, i really did mean it CONSTRUCTIVELY...i apologize. but i do believe: "those that have knowledge and do not share are worse than those that have no knowledge at all."

  • You have a beautiful heart my friend! I appreciate the clarity. And I agree with you about sharing knowledge. I'll accept your wisdom anytime!
