I was not impressed with this performance. The Quidrille riders did not have full control of their horses. When they were supposed to be standing still, several of them were moving around.There was no rhyme or reason to the routine. This performance as a whole was disorganized and chaotic. All I can say here now is Ladies, get your act together, practice your routine and ditch those ugly red cowboy hats...very tacky. Dress properly for the style you are riding, don't mix and match styles.

@tharfon this was a eally good performance. maybe the quadrille riders horses were young or this was their first itme in an arena this size. theres a lot of adrenaline pumping through thei bodies at that point. the red and white is because their the canadian drill team. and the video is east meets west, western riders riding with english dressage. it fits the routine. stop nit-picking and leave them alone.

Well, when I go out in the pasture and see my horse trotting around with a ton of suspension and his head and tail in the air, trying to impress a buddy, he sure looks a whole lot like a collected dressage horse. Ever see a horse spin around in circles? I didn't think so.

Basically, both disciplines take from the horse's natural movements-- I don't think that you could argue that one is more "natural" than the other, at all.

ok this may sound rude but Roxy looks fat! is it just me or does anybody else notice this? AND IM SO EXCITED SHES A QUARTER HORSE!!! my dad wouldnt let me get this quarter horse and my dad said they arent that amazing horses. well look at that! Roxy is fabulous!

This was the first night of the show (Thursday). This night had the best choice of seats that were still available in January, and had the best opportunity for meeting Stacy and Roxy (which we did...inside the arena!).

Only the ends had empty seats. The middle sections (both sides) were packed.
