Hi, i live in Delaware. Our average winter temps are 30 degrees. I was wondering if thats cold enough to make a ring in my backyard? I really wanna try this when next winter comes along or maybe this winter if it gets cold again.

@shaqdaddy11 well the best temperature is from the low twenties and colder. thirties usually wont be cold enough to really sustain the ice.

@halkon989 no you need to level the ground otherwise the rink wont freeze correctly

@PompsieProductions My backyard slops 1 ft, so you have to build up the low end with ice to make it level, it will work but takes a lot longer. One end of my rink end sup being almost 2 ft thick compared to the other end being about 8-12 inches thick. It will work but the more level the ground the quicker and easier it will be.
