I,ve just come to Apologise to everyone for acting like a complete ass.
I have finally resumed a less annoying position in life.
After retiring from a low secuity position, and now i can lead the life of the real "Victor Meldrew" I hope i didnt offend anyone too much, as it was only a game to wind you peasants up. Bearing in mind ive been a social ponce most of my life. Not doing much, & signing off every 25th week to avoid job club. Well thats me all nicely settled and got this off my chest.
Static camers are not designed to stop road traffic collisions.
Whilst motor vehicles are controlled by human beings, RTC's will always take place - cameras are intended to encourage motorists to stick to the posted thresholds so that WHEN a collision takes place, physical trauma is minimised.
The 'It's 30 for a reason' is the perfect example of this - it was all about when you hit a child, not avoiding the collision.
Frankly, if you can't spot a BRIGHT FUCKING YELLOW Gatso with white lines on the tarmac, then you deserve 3 points on your licence for speeding because you're clearly not paying attention your driving or on your Fucking mobile phone talking absolute Shit about something pointless and tedious whilst burying your right foot in the carpet. Pay attention Fuckwits.
I got done for speeding the other week. Fucking traffic cop standing 10ft from the camera with a speed gun. Doing people just before they slowed for the camera!
One of the dangers of speed cameras (and one that bring criticism that they 'cause' accidents) is that people are speeding, then brake hard to avoid getting caught by the camera.
Everyone knows the difference between right and wrong, but they also know what they can get away with.
Sorry, but if you get caught speeding before you get to the camera, it's nobodys fault but your own. :)

It's surprising how many people have turned this into a 'Speed camera's don't work' story.
If the NHS were to take 100 smokers and turn them into non-smokers, but just two continued to smoke, would that be a failure?
So a handful have gone up. That's not a failure when most have done their job.
And statistics can give misleading results.
Eg: 5 kids get killed stupidly racing their cars.
A freak occurence (and they were ignoring the speed limit anyway)... it messes up the stats.

Speed cameras are a tax on stupid people who can't obey the speed limits.
