  • This is the best of anything I've ever seen, ever

  • such an amazing song, catchy ass bass line and yet so simple to play!!! Still hanging on the fact this wasn't played when I saw them in London last month!

  • I have that elvis mask les is wearing, and i also love how there is no guitar

  • On my list of "The World's Coolest dudes in the history of music ever!" Les is number one 4-EVER!

  • AWESOME version!!

  • I don't want to meet any of my heroes cos I wouldn't wanna get disappointed but I reckon Les would be a real hoot to hang with.

He just seems ace! Not only as a bassplayer but as a person.

  • LES CLAYPOOL KNOWS!

Each musician is so FUCKING GOOD!

  • Tenor Saxophone Solo <3

  • when im feelin sad i watch les' solo and suddenly im standing on top a mountain!

  • never heard this version... sounds fancy :D

  • Les the wizzzzzzzzard who plays bass wid his broom.

  • If I hated it, would I have heard the last note ? Hmmmmmm.......

  • @MrNewspickle You try playing any of Les or Primus's stuff!

This music is the most original stuff around they use more instuments like a xylophone, saxaphone, a cello, a bass. Stuff besides that annoying over used electric guitar used in every modern "rock" song.*not to say I don't like guitar*

This is probably some of the hardest *and best* music you could learn to play.

  • @MrNewspickle

then why did you watch the video?

  • I can't find this on itunes..?

  • @Allnamesrbelongtou

You can get the DVD at Amazon. The DVD is called Fancy by Les Claypool.

  • i think primus sucks harder here than anywhere else, but thats a matter of opinion

  • what show was this recorded at anyone know???

  • fugyah tanks for this Mighty Les..

  • What is that instrument? A sitar? A Chapman Stick? A MIDI triggerer? Played by Lady Gaga!?!?!

  • @wcr4 its a sitar!

  • its not lady gaga its gabbi la la. les wouldnt be cuaght dead performing with that skank

  • @wcr4 ummmm that's Gaby La La....isn't it

  • sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo badasssssssss

  • the best bass line ever.

  • skerik+les= monsters

  • Why does nobody pay attention to that Xylophonists? Hes my fucking Idol.

  • Good question, I don't even know his name.

  • @WondrousBurrito

holy buttfucking cheeseburger dispensers he is hey, i saw Les when he made it all the way out to Perth western Australia and by fuck that xylophonist is a fucking magician hey, all of them are fucking brilliant, but i mean after all they are accompanying Les Claypool ffs

  • @WondrousBurrito Agreed. The Xylophone is a highly undervalued instrument.

  • Comment removed

  • @WondrousBurrito Every time I see or listen to his solos, I get chills. Pure liquid. No abrupt transitions. Reminds me of jazz greats like Paul Gonsalves' solo on Dimenuendo and Crescendo in Blue from the "Live at Newport 1956 album. Can you say, "in the zone"? Damn right.

  • @WondrousBurrito Vibraphone, not xylophone.

  • That sax player is so badass.

  • Fuggin brilliant!!

  • impressivo

  • best song ever hands down

  • I think that sax player just blew my mind

  • Skerik is absolutely amazing. I saw him in Portland with Les a year ago in March and both were phenomenal.

  • What effect does he use on that bass? :o

  • when ls claypool played in boston he played this into the awakening pinnacle experience i shat myself

  • Thanks for posting this Mr Claypool, I've always wanted to see a live performance of this song.

  • God damn that sax player tore that shit up!

  • Sweet Jesus, that's the best sax playing I've heard since Dana Colley!

  • Skerik is so fucking sick on the sax~

  • Ive seen les more than 10 times and he rules!!!!!!

  • I saw les for the first time in South Lake Tahoe. It was cold as shit that night

  • What instrument is girl with the blue hair playing?

  • I think it's called a Sitar.

  • a sitar i think her name is gaby lala

  • I beg to differ... Look at Eenor from Frog Brigade, Todd Huth from Sausage, or Trey Anastasio in Oysterhead... I don't think it's a vendetta with electric guitars so much as a constant strive for creativity. Let's face it, electric guitar is the most typical rock music instrument ever, he probably wants to open up a few minds

  • Buckethead from C2B3

  • les seems to have something against electric guitars; a lot of his solo projects (except C2B3 with Buckethead) have some other higher-pitched stringed instrument than his bass (cello, sitar)

  • This is hands down the best tune on the Fancy dvd... This band is the best project Les has ever put together, although C2B3 is an extremely close second...

  • I've seen this preformed live, Amazing! I love the idea of a lead Sitar instead of Guitar.

  • Les is a funny dude

    Gabby alaways looks goofy

best sax i've seen since Morphine

  • Les Claypool's music is just about fun. That's the beauty of it all haha

  • fun and nasty music

  • Yeah!! I got the DVD!

  • What a great line up, Les. Gah I keep meaning to pick up Mike Dillions new album.

  • Oooh, there's a good idea. If it's anything like Battery Milk, I'm sure it's a masterpiece.

  • french horns

  • uhhhh... that's a saxophone, beavis.

  • Maby in France, they call Saxaphones, horns, making it a 'french horn"

    ...or not

  • great song!
