such an amazing song, catchy ass bass line and yet so simple to play!!! Still hanging on the fact this wasn't played when I saw them in London last month!
@MrNewspickle You try playing any of Les or Primus's stuff!
This music is the most original stuff around they use more instuments like a xylophone, saxaphone, a cello, a bass. Stuff besides that annoying over used electric guitar used in every modern "rock" song.*not to say I don't like guitar*
This is probably some of the hardest *and best* music you could learn to play.
ima gonna get me one ima gonna get me one ima gonna get me one ima gonna get me ima gonna get me one ima gonna get ima gonna get me one ima gonna get ima gonna get me ima gonna get me one....
holy buttfucking cheeseburger dispensers he is hey, i saw Les when he made it all the way out to Perth western Australia and by fuck that xylophonist is a fucking magician hey, all of them are fucking brilliant, but i mean after all they are accompanying Les Claypool ffs
@WondrousBurrito Every time I see or listen to his solos, I get chills. Pure liquid. No abrupt transitions. Reminds me of jazz greats like Paul Gonsalves' solo on Dimenuendo and Crescendo in Blue from the "Live at Newport 1956 album. Can you say, "in the zone"? Damn right.
Les, I'm flying from Cape Breton to be in Winnipeg for 2 nights just to see your show at the Burton Cummings Theatre. I watched a few live clips of the guys you'll be touring with and I'm beyond stoked
I beg to differ... Look at Eenor from Frog Brigade, Todd Huth from Sausage, or Trey Anastasio in Oysterhead... I don't think it's a vendetta with electric guitars so much as a constant strive for creativity. Let's face it, electric guitar is the most typical rock music instrument ever, he probably wants to open up a few minds
les seems to have something against electric guitars; a lot of his solo projects (except C2B3 with Buckethead) have some other higher-pitched stringed instrument than his bass (cello, sitar)
This is hands down the best tune on the Fancy dvd... This band is the best project Les has ever put together, although C2B3 is an extremely close second...
This is the best of anything I've ever seen, ever
