Actually, yes it is. Contrary to popular belief, the NES was actually capable of producing all of the sounds used in this remix, and said remix used only four "channels", or tracks, which is the maximum the average NES was capable of.

What also makes this song cool is some of the sounds that seem as though they'd require two "channels" actually take up just one. That's part of why the NES is still badass, even today.
