Something being brought in on left. The Germans had microphones buried under the ground at all locations in the Stalag portrayed in the movie. They were probably also HSS transducers as well. If there was ever an actual escape it probably wasn't. A setup more like. Read closely "The Interrogator: The Story of Hanns Joachim Scharff: Master Interrogator of the Luftwaffe by Raymond T. Toliver, Hanns Joachim Scharff. He became a mosaic artist. Had huge data base on air combat crews.
Actually the people that created "Hogans Heroes" ended up getting sued by the creators of this movie. They ripped off the Sgt. Schulz character and some other ideas as well.
Haha, I LOVE that movie!

Everyone should know what sprechen sie deustch means. That's the most basic of German.
I never learned german, but I still know some phrases. Just like Spanish, French, and Latin.
And this is NOT from Hogans Heroes.

Not everyone :) And I know it was. That was part of the joke after all.
You need to take a chill pill and be more considerate of others ^^

@Promenius being considerate of others isn't in my job description
